The Miller's arms is a great place to stay in Canterbury. Car parking just across the road (parking always a problem in Canterbury). The pub itself is good fun, great beers and when I stayed had the rugby on.

Breakfast was excellent.

Only problem is because it's so popular couldn't get a room there the next time I wanted to stay in Canterbury!

We stayed at this hotel and had the four poster room facing the river, great location, clean etc
but very noisy did not a lot of sleep due to old windows and river with mini waterfalls being directly outside the property. The breakfast was lovely and service very good and the price reasonable just don't forget your earplugs!

Room Tip: Four poster room was lovely apart from squeaky floor boards and outside noise.

As ever, lovely room, attentive service and grear breakfast. Very good value and we'll definitely be back. The only down side is the family room can be a little stuffy as it's at the top but aside from that we had a great stay. Definitely be back next year!!

We stayed, sadly, only one night due to our schedule. But the room was great. Small and not the room you would "hang out it", but that was perfect. The pub downstairs was full of friendly staff and we were there to see the town. The view from our window was of the cathedral and at night the view went from great to AWESOME. Breakfast was great. There is no elevator, so be warned of that. This was exactly what I wanted for my family of 4...a reasonable room in a historic building close to the center of Canterbury.

Room Tip: We were on the top floor which gave us a great view of the cathedral and the city.

I stayed at the Miller Arms in both the spring 2012 and 2013, while in the England and visiting friends in Canterbury. It is a unique place to stay, the staff if friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean, the food is great and Miller Arms is located in such a way that the entire town is walkable! I recommend it to everyone!

Stayed here with two mates on a little roadtrip in the UK. We were pleasantly surprised by the Millers Arms. It is very close to the center. Our room was freshly renovated (we were the first visitors). They placed an extra bed so we all had our own. The staff is friendly. And a very nice view of the cathedral from the family room. Priced at 72 quid for three adults, breakfast included, is fair if not cheap!

The pub is trendy and clean. Some locals, some tourist and some exchange student made the public. Everything was charged to the room, and the bill was accurate.

After all the praising two minor issues; we had to wait 45 minutes for the breakfast chef (who overslept) and my dinner was pretty tasteless (gnocchi came from a can and the (pumpkin?) soup had no taste at all). My companions enjoyed their meal, so I'll take it as bad luck.

Overall a very good good experience and a definite recommendation if you're staying in Canterbury!!

We have stayed here on two occasions. Location is great, walking distance to the town . Good sized room and bathroom. Breakfasts excellent. Close to Canterbury West Station. Helpful, friendly staff. Quaint building and canal area. Car park very close and visible from room. Hope to be back.

Room Tip: We like the room at the end of the passage overlooking corner so you get a view of canal, car park a...
