Stayed for 3 nights and can only repeat what others have said.
Certainly an excellent location - easy walking to the main shopping area, cathedral and close to Marlowe Theatre.
Loads of (payable) parking space nearby. Don't get your ticket in the car park when you arrive, but buy a £6 visitors ticket (valid 24 hrs) when you check in and nip out and display it.
There is a good lunchtime/ evening menu, but loads of other places to eat if you want a change.
The breakfasts are excellent - loads of choice, and all freshly cooked to order.
Bathroom was large and clean (with large bath). Rainfall shower. Plenty of hot water.
A bit of dust in the bedroom (nothing serious!!), but I did notice that they were advertising for a housekeeper!
Would certainly stay here again.

We stayed at the Millers Arms overnight at the end of December. Thought parking might be a problem but you can pop into the pub and pay £6 for a 24hr ticket to the car park directly opposite The staff will do this quite quickly.

Our room was spotless, pleasant and cozy. Our window view was of the Cathedral, and especially after dark that view was fantastic as the Cathedral was all lit up.

No complaints about the food in the evening and breakfast in the morning was particularly good. Staff were pleasant and booked us in quickly.

If we returned to Canterbury we would definitely stay here again. It is a good base to explore Canterbury.

We stayed at the Millers Arms for 1 night and paid £100 for a superior room. Although the room was quite small (up in the roof) it was very comfortable and newly decorated. Not sure it was 'superior' and even the girl on reception wasn't sure of this! However the staff were so pleasant and friendly that it made our stay really good. They arranged dinner for us even though we got there after 9pm which was lovely (we'd had a bad journey due to delays/floods on train line). Breakfast was great and again the staff were really pleasant. We would definately stay here again (but just ask for a bigger room). A lovely hotel and pub with loads of character, near the river and town.

I have stayed at the Millers Arms twice, once very recently. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Our room was very nicely decorated and the bathroom was very large with underfloor heating.Spotlessly clean too.Other family members recommended it to me.

The breakfast was beautifully cooked, and the meals are very good too. I will stay there again and would recommend it to everyone. Within five to ten minutes walk of the centre of Canterbury.

Room Tip: A Beautiful view of the water.

My sister visited me from Australia, having grown up in Kent I wanted to show her Canterbury. We looked for some accommodation which was affordable and near the city centre - and we chose well! The Millers Arms is a great location, with parking in the car park next door (they give you a voucher for £6 for 24 hrs). The pub is welcoming, staff are wonderful and the rooms very clean and tidy. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Room Tip: We stayed at the front overlooking the canal, very little street noise and a great view.

Travelling for work, I much prefer a nice pub with accommodation than a soulless hotel. The description via Laterooms that it had parking was deceiving as I drove around a couple of times and not finding any, I resorted to the local pay/display.

A friendly welcome where I was belatedly told about the car park deal.

The room was very homey and cosy with all the necessary trappings. The bathroom was very nice, with a corner bath.

I had a quick dinner of burger and chips, home made and very tasty. In the morning I had eggs and bacon on a muffin, also very tasty.

The pub is ideally located for exploring Canterbury and I'm sorry that I was only there briefly overnight.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Very friendly, good food and very comfortable bed.
I would recommend it to anyone needing accommodation in Canterbury. Central, close to Historical buildings, the Cathedral and Shops.

Room Tip: The rooms are named after Characters inthe Canterbury Tales so choose your favourite Tale
