My husband and I stayed here 31aug 2013 for one night...we were attending a wedding party at another hotel which unfortunately was full..
The hotel is in an ideal position near the centre of Canterbury..We received a friendly welcome on arrival and went to our room on the ground floor overlooking the High Street...
Our room was clean and pleasant but definently is due for a refurb..
Overall our short stay was pleasant...the breakfast was good....but I'm afraid the room was unbearably hot as on our arrival(3pm)the sun was shining and we were unable to open windows..there were 2 fans which we left on permanently but when we returned that night the room was still very hot and stuffy...needless to say our nights sleep was not good as the fans kept us awake!!!
The hotel is very quaint and historical but if you're planning on staying I would advise you to ask ahead not to have a ground floor street facing room!!More
