“really good food”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Enjoyed a really good 3 course lunch here recently, medium size group of 6, all food arrived at the same time and still hot. Everyone of the group enjoyed their meal and everyone will be back to the restaurant again.

“Good, middle of the road restaurant”
Reviewed 22 May 2014

Not too expensive and acceptable food. We only had choices from the Moroccan side of the menu - didn't try any of the Italian.
Better food than the average chain, but not up there with the quality restaurants.
Service was good and stiing upstairs at the front gives you some good views of the world passing by!

“Awesome”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

We had a good meal here recently. The Italian and Mediterranean meal choices were all great and the price was very competitive. We will definitely be back.

“Great food on both sides of the menu”
Reviewed 10 May 2014 via mobile

We had an excellent evening last night at this restaurant. I ordered off the Italian menu and my wife ordered off of the Moroccan menu. Both were authentic and superb. The views overlooking the high street are also brilliant. Will definitely be back.

“Don't choose from the Italian side of the menu!”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

Quite simply everyone in my group who ordered from the Italian side of the menu was very disappointed with their meals.
My pizza Fiorentina was certainly horribly overcooked, the egg yolk hard and crumbly with a thick 'plastic' coating, it was so tough that It was almost impossible to saw through, I noticed everybody else that had ordered pizza was struggling in the same manner. My husband had chicken with Parma ham which was similarly very overcooked and dry, he felt the portion size far to small- or I suppose he would have done had he enjoyed his meal!
Around half of our group chose from the Lebanese side of the menu and whilst no one was raving about how delicious their meals were, no one was complaining either. I suspect the italian meals were ready first and sat at the pass drying out whilst the other dishes were being completed, I suspect it's a running theme.
On a final note, the toilets were dirty and the doors leading from the toilets to the restaurant were visibly grubby.
Many years ago the olive grove was our favourite restaurant in Canterbury a couple of disastrous meals and a fairly obnoxious manager (just before they extended into the premises next door and introduced Lebanese cuisine to their menu) meant that this was our first revisit, I don't think we will be back unfortunately.
