“The perfect family cottage!”
Reviewed 11 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

The cottage was lovely and it had everything you could wish for. Very private but still close to landlord if needed. A perfect spot near the sea and countrywalks, but also close to London. Lovely towns all around with lots of historical sights. We warmly recommend it!

Three of us plus our small dog set out to stay at Little Impetts for a relaxing weekend in the Kent countryside. We couldn't have wished for a more peaceful setting. Whilst the cottage is small it certainly is charming. We had a very warm welcome from Tim and subsequently met Lisa during our stay. Both were very hospitable and informative. Lisa by the way makes amazing jams, chutneys and fudge (a must take-away!) The surrounding areas are very accessible and great for walking and small car journeys to explore coastal areas such as beautiful Broadstairs, Whitstable, Ramsgate and of course not forgetting Canterbury Cathedral. Waking up to birdsong and the country air was most enchanting. Little Impetts is certainly a delightful little find. Almost wanting to keep it our secret! The only thing I would suggest is to print a Google map of the address as our Satnav took us all sorts of routes. Totally recommended and one for the diary to return.

“Lovely home from home”
Reviewed 24 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We chose Little Impetts for our first family holiday with our 7 month old daughter. The cottage was perfect for our needs with plenty of space for the three of us while still feeling very cosy and homely and with all the necessary fixtures and fittings. The cottage is in a very quiet location but only a short drive from surrounding towns and attractions. Tim and Lisa were perfect hosts, being on hand for any queries as they are only next door though the cottage feels very separate and private. I would recommend Little Impetts for anyone looking for a relaxing break, I imagine it would appeal to small families, young and old couples alike.

“So nice, I'd recommend it to anyone!”
Reviewed 24 March 2014 for a stay in March 2014

A beautiful thatched cottage in the countryside. We chose Little Impetts as it's a quiet spot but close to Canterbury and Herne Bay as they are only a short drive away. We have stopped in many 4/5 star propeties and this little gem lived up to our expectations and more. Tim and Lisa are the perfect hosts although we only met them on arrival and they then left us to our own devices, even though they only lived next door! . The cottage is private and it feels as though you are completely on your own. It was lovely, warm and cosy with all of those finishing touches to make your stay comfortable. Fresh flowers on the mantlepiece, tea, coffee and biscuits waiting on arrival. There is the choice of a long soak in the bath or an invigorating shower. There are walks straight from the door for the dogs and off road parking. It's great that two dogs are allowed to stay. The only negative is the mattress which was a bit thin and soft for those like us who prefer a firmer mattress. We loved it and we will definitely return!

Could not of asked for a more Romantic place to stay.
Weather was appalling so we chilled most of our stay. Cottage was warm and cosy. Plenty of books and DVDs are
supplied to pass the time.
Would recommend to all.
