“Wonderful hospitality, spotlessly clean, highly recommended”
Reviewed 29 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

I stayed at Little Impetts for a short break with two children (aged 16 and 12). The cottage is beautiful and spotlessly clean with every amenity and comfort you could wish for.

We went without a car, but managed to get there from Minster station very easily . The buses run from five minutes away to Canterbury and there are lots of beautiful walks as well.

Its perfect for a break - and just to sit and watch the birds on the thatch and let your mind wander. Our host, Tim even ran us to the local shop where we picked up some of Lisa's lovely fudge. Really friendly and kind people.

We would definitely go back!

We stayed at Little Impetts for the bank holiday weekend. It was lovely as mentioned before the photos do not show how charming and comfortable the cottage is. It has lovely comfy beds, powerful shower and is fully supplied with everything you could need. The location is wonderful very peaceful with fabulous walks on the doorstep and great pubs all around that provide great value food. We ate at the Rising Sun and Dog and Duck both were very friendly and service great. We had our dog and son with us and Tim and Lisa made us very welcome. It is a great location to visit; whitstable, broad stairs, ramsgate and margate with lots to do and wonderful views of the countryside. It was a real shame to leave as it was so relaxing and peaceful. We will definitely return and recommend highly.

“Fantastic”

Little Impetts is the ideal place to relax with the family. Tim and Lisa have thought of everything even down to coasters and place mats! There is nothing missing from this cottage. The beds were comfy and as a light sleeper I slept very well. The cottage is clean and tidy and well kept. We will definitely be back in the future!!!

“Comfy, cosy cottage situated well to discover the east side of Kent.”
Reviewed 25 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

'Little Impetts' is a beautiful old cottage which served well as our home for the week. Lisa gave a warm welcome and she is extremely talented at baking cakes. Would definitely recommend the lemon drizzle cake. Extremely comfy beds aided restful sleep and the cottage is situated centrally which enables you to travel to the coastal, sandy bays quickly and with ease. There are plenty opportunities for walking and taking in the beautiful scenery Kent has to offer. Top tip: If you want to visit Ramsgate Tunnels then book in advance to avoid disappointment. Also the Shell Grotto, although a short visit, is a fabulous, awe inspiring experience. If you're into history then visit Canterbury as it has a vast range of buildings from all eras. I would definitely recommend 'Little Impetts' as a good holiday home.

“Everything you need, private and quiet, easy to get to things to do.”

This cottage was ideal for us as a family - parent and two children. It had everything we needed. The kitchen is small but is perfectly formed it had everything you would require with a bit of ingenuity. The whole cottage was very clean and we appreciated the use of wifi (children!), direct access to a washing machine (Mum!) and very comfy beds (all of us!) I also liked the ipod/clock dock upstairs.and a lovely dressing table. There was plenty of storage space for us three for clothes, stuff and food. When the weather was good enough we liked sitting outside. It felt very private and quiet. We received a very warm welcome, there was even a bucket and spade ready for our youngest if required. I particularly liked the fresh flowers in vases in the sitting room as I love flowers. The cottage is ideally located with plenty to do and shops and pubs are nearby for food. I would have liked to do more of the walks nearby but that's children for you. I would particularly recommend Wingham Wildlife Park which is only a few minutes away. Dover Castle was really easy to get to and well worth a visit.
All in all a very happy stay.

“good base for seeing east kent”
Reviewed 9 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We have just returned from a two week stay in this cottage. The cottage is very nice and comfortable, but a bit cramped for 5 people. People booking in the future may want to note that the bathroom and toilet is accessed through the main bedroom, which would present privacy issues for a group of adults. The kitchen is well equipped and clean, but lacking in space to store food. The sitting area has seats for 4 people. There is a drop leaf table which has to be brought out if you wish to eat together indoors. There is a good sized picnic table in the secure courtyard where you can eat together in fine weather. The cottage is set in a pleasant village, with 4 nice pubs within about a 20 to 30 minute walk via footpaths and alongside the rivers. Canterbury is about a 25 minute drive away and is well worth a visit, we went three times. Ramsgate has the nearest beach about 20 minutes away and has good facilities, toilets and parking costs £4 for 24 hrs in leopold street multi story. Dover, Deal and Sandwich are all within 45 minutes and are enjoyable for a visit. Over all we had a very good holiday and would like to return again, perhaps with a smaller party.
