Stayed here in June 2018; room was clean, spacious; service was extremely polite; breakfast ranges were very good; superb extensive gardens with two spa pools and plenty of comfortable chairs to read the morning papers in the sunshine.

Room Tip: Rooms 1 and 2 are very spacious.

If you are a fan of fine breakfasts, a warm welcome, and close proximity to the town centre. Very close to the cricket ground which is an added bonus. We are stayed at the Ebury many times and you are always treated with courtesy and care.

These cottages are worth considering for families and smaller groups. They sleep four reasonably easily (one double, one twin) with the option of a pull out sofa bed for larger numbers. The ‘cottage’ was clean and looked like it had been recently redecorated. There were some limitations however, the surrounding area is wooded and the cottage (cottage 4) received very little light. For that reason it was chilly. Electric heaters sorted that without too much of an issue, but we did struggle with the damp. There was no ventilation in the bathroom as the extractor did not work (neither did the light to the bathroom despite mentioning it on three different occasions). All that moisture had to go somewhere! My other criticism was the amount of storage. Both bedrooms had a built in wardrobe but only ten hangers were available throughout the cottage for the four of us. Draw space is none existent (the chest of draws were no more than decorative) and with no where in the bedrooms to leave a suitcase where clothes were accessible, it meant that things felt rather cramped.

The hotel is underpriced for its facilities, service and location. A well looked after building with clean rooms, superb breakfast and friendly helpful staff

Don’t bother spending your money anywhere else.

We stayed three nights and used it as a base to do both Canterbury and Dover. A short walk to city center in Canterbury and a quick 20 minute drive to Dover. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breafast was freshly prepared and quite good. They have a nice bar and outside seating area outside to enjoy. They also offer to do laundry at a reasonable cost -wish we had known we would have waited and had it done here. The owners also have restaurants in town and offer discounts. We did not visit them but thought it was worth mentioning.
