Owner description: A unique and friendly pub with a jukebox showcasing some of the best in rock n roll, punk & metal bands from the 1950’s to the present day. We stock a wide range of real ales, ciders, cocktails & specialist rums. During the day we serve freshly prepared homemade food including a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options. At night we have regular events such as dj nights and live music. Enjoy our daily papers, board games and relax in our secluded courtyard beer garden.

Love this place, love the music the decoration and the social events. They always have something going on and the people are lovely and quirky. My kind of people, with crazy colored hair and random socials. you can go in there and not feel overly judged.

I've been to the lady luck a couple of times and definately think they deserve a review. They have a juke box which is good since you can choose your music and since its a rock bar you can go as heavy or as soft as you want. There are plenty of cocktail offers as well as a large choice of ales and ciders. Really good atmosphere with plenty of regulars (all friendly).

Us two old chums decided to do a Saturday Canterbury Pub Crawl. Goal was a single drink in every pub across town that we passed. This was the only place that made us break our rules and stay for two! Nice staff, interesting fellow drinkers, a truly individual character and the smallest pool cue we'd ever seen!! (...Indeed, I won my first game in 11yrs thanks to it!). We both said we wish we'd eaten here as it seems (reading other reviews) that the pub food gives the many local restaurants a good run for anyone's money.
