We recently went to see Vincent and Flavia in Dance til Dawn. What a superb show. The whole evening was a pleasure. What with the dancing, music and the venue it was a delight. The staff were efficient and very helpful. I would highly recommend the venue to everyone.

i have to say i don't like the design of the building however the facilities are good. there were plenty of staff and restaurant and bar facilities available. the foyer when waiting seemed a bit compact. at 6' 2" there was plenty of room in the seats which were quite comfortable.

Thank Trevor B

Went to see Jools Holland - several of the players commented on what a wonderful theatre it was to play in. It's the best provincial theatre have been to - leather seats, wood panelled walls, the smell of new carpets, great sightlines - hard to beat. Staff could have been more helpful about the interval timing and made an announcement.

We hadn't been to this theatre for years and so were quite shocked at the transformation. Everything was modern and clean but our seats were right "up in the Gods". We hadn't realised that we would be quite so high up nor evidently did people around us who hadn't been before! Row H in the upper circle is high! You may need oxygen!

Nevertheless, we saw Jools Holland and "friends" and what a fantastic night it was. At least we could see everyone on stage and the acoustics were excellent. It's nice to see good, live music in Canterbury. The bar prices are a little expensive, with a small (330ml) alcoholic Ginger Beer for the price of an expensive pint anywhere else.
