We stayed in the "Orchard Pickers Cottage". Someone wrote that it's like staying in a hut, but what a lovely hut! My wife is very particular when it comes to places to stay... but this little studio a few metres away from the main farmhouse ticked all the boxes! Cosy, very clean, self-contained, private, in the countryside but not far from the town AND with breakfast included... The fact that there is a corner kitchen to make dinner was really an extra, meaning that we didn't have to trek into Canterbury in the evening to try and find a nice place to eat. We will definitely be back!

Arrived after 3 hour car journey to a lovely welcome, the room was perfect, bathroom amazing, warm, comfortable, box of toys for our wee one to play with...
Having packed in a rush we soon discovered we had left jackets at home... however these were soon found and supplied for the duration of our stay by the Sarah (thank you again).
Ever so helpful in directing us everywhere, easy to fine, easy to park, everything was spotlessly clean and tidy.
Traveling with a 3 year old is always shattering, but Sarah made our stay enjoyable and effortless.
Did I mention the breakfast ??? It will make your eyes water - cant remember the last time I enjoyed breakfast so much, and the gardens were divine. the whole experience was 5 star. Thanks. Neil, Zoe and Charlie - London.

Lovely stay, warm hosts and a mazing brekkie included.
Very nice for short break with no hassles and lots of walks to various pubs :)
Very close to beautiful Canterbury as well as Coast. We visited whitstable and did a long costal walk. The hosts were very well informed on local attractions and ideas of things to get upto. Our stay was private and relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed it

Loved everything about it. Had just driven 5+ hours with whole family when we arrived. Greeted by ponies (D-day and Dolly) which kids adored, followed by the Spaniel named Crotchet. Then we met the staff and were immediately set even more at ease. Becuase of the late hour there weren't many dining options available, so Sarah offered to make dinner for us! Fantastic 5-star dining experience with fresh, local ingredients and the very warmest hospitality. That experience extended through all our subsequent meals as well.

Our accomodation was just as excellent as our meal --- plenty of room, very clean yet cozy, I even managed to fire up the wood stove.

I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation; it will be first on my list when we next return to wonderful England!

We received a warm welcome on arrival, and enjoyed a home cooked meal on the first evening. Everyone was extremely friendly and most helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, with many of the ingredients locally sourced. Our room was well appointed and clean. The farm is located in open countryside, a short drive from Canterbury. We spent a very enjoyable week exploring Kent by car. A great place to relax, we cannot recommend it highly enough.

A friendly introduction, and a lovely breakfast provided in the house by the young staff. Iffin is in a pleasant setting, and less than 10 minutes out from Canterbury (traffic permitting!) and indeed well placed for the rest of Kent due to the proximity of the train station.

We stayed in the converted barn and liked the modern wet room, underfloor heating and comfy bed.

Nevertheless, we felt there could have been more attention to finishing touches. We thought the living room was quite sparse and could do with some homely touches; e.g. pictures on the wall, a lamp by the sofa for more cosy lighting so you don't always have to use the main lights, a foot stool for putting your feet up after a hard days' hiking, a coffee table by the sofa, and a hat/coat stand- we needed somewhere to hang things after a wet day out!

From a maintenance point of view; the toilet roll holder wasn't useable, there were a few gaps in the units in the kitchen which left bare spaces, and a leak under the sink with a washing up bowl to catch the drips! Also it was a shame our wood-burning stove wood was left out in the rain, so we were unable to use it.

On the whole we always love self-catering barns as a base for holidays, and really enjoyed our stay.

Beautifully decorated, spacious rooms. Nothing is too much trouble for Sarah, the owner. She genuinely wants your stay to be as comfortable as possible. Set in a beautiful part of the country, yet it is only 10 min drive into the centre of Canterbury, with its restaurants and night life. Highly recommend this B &B!
