Best sandwiches we have ever eaten. Lightly toasted, warm filling. We had the pork belly and the halloumi/ vegetable sandwiches. They are packed with flavour. Fast efficient service. Not cheap but fair for what you are getting.

Great little spot for brunch and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend! I had the halomi and roasted veg sandwich and my partner the refectory brunch both of which were delicious.

Decided to sit outside on a particularly hot day for brunch with some friends. Table service was a nice touch for us and staff were very welcoming and helpful considering the place was full! Food came in good time and the coffee was really great- non-dairy milk options too. Will definitely come back for a treat.

Located just outside the town centre, a short walk from the Westgate, this is a good place for a light lunch, brunch, late breakfast or afternoon tea. They are licensed and have a (very) small selection of ciders and craft beers. The food is varied and very tasty. Eggs benedict, waffles with sausage patty, bacon and maple syrup and “Bombay hash” (spicy potatoes, cucumber, pomegranate, topped with a crispy fried egg) were all delicious and cheap. Outside seating is available in the summer and a big log fire in the winter!

Arrived pre 10am on a sunny weekday and we were seated quickly and greeted with a warm welcome. I had the Refectory Grill which included a delicious sausage, bacon, granary toast, poached egg and homemade baked beans (delicious!) - which were made with a homemade tomato sauce. The food was perfectly cooked and top notch service made this a great experience!
