I read the reviews on TA and thought it sounds good, well it was more than good amazing, First Class Staff, rooms fantastic, spacious and super clean , Excellence meal deal for the evening including buffet breakfast for the next day. and most of all they have a limited amount of parking vouchers which means if you can get a voucher your cost is reduced to £6 for 24 hours as opposed to £16.80. We will without any doubt stay there again, it is only a short walk into town so very good all round.

The hotel is located in the city centre. We stayed there twice so far. It's very convenient if you want to stroll down the town do some shopping, bring the shopping back to your room and carry on exploring Canterbury.
The rooms were ideal for a city break. The beds were so comfortable and you definitely get a good night sleep. However the housekeeping could be improved. The second time we stayed there was quite a lot of hair in the bathroom and the floor wasn't hoovered prior to us arriving.
Also on both occasions the shower gel attached in the shower was empty, so make sure you bring your own toiletries.
The thing that really annoyed me is that we couldn't open the windows for some fresh air. Apparently something to do with your own safety, but quite irritating as nothing beats the fresh air in the morning!
The food was very good price a bit greasy but then its not a West End restaurant. Ideal for a quick grab.
There was an issue with the lack of parking spaces so make sure you phone the hotel prior to you arriving.
Overall good hotel in the best location!

We booked a room for two adults and two children and we were happy to see two extra, proper beds for my boys, who are 9. The hotel is perfectly located and only 10 minutes away from Canterbury Cathedral.

The hotel is quite new and the staff are friendly, especially during breakfast. Book in advance to get the best deals and try and include the yummy cooked breakfast. If you don't want to, then there is a Waitrose right outside to cater to your needs.

Be aware that this Premier Inn doesn't have its own car park, but they will advise to use one of two that are close by. Also, it does get a bit stuffy in the room at night. You cannot open the window as the hotel is situated on a very busy road. It wasn't too bad for us, considering it's April, but it will be a problem in summer. They do have air-conditioning, but that does cut off by itself when it feels like!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and we would definitely come back to stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 115, which is at the end of a long corridor. It's quiet.

Just got back from 3 nights at this Premier Inn with the family, nice comfy quiet room and very clean. The hotel is pretty new so the condition of all the fixtures and fittings is excellent, bed very comfy as always. Thyme restaurant was very nice and breakfast was good as always. Shame this hotel doesn't have free WiFi but only £3 a day. Use the Park and Ride in New Dover Road as it's only £3 a day for parking plus travel for up to 6 people and the buses run every 8 minutes in the daytime. Hotel is very close to the city centre so great location and great value. We will be back.

This Premier Inn is well situated within a 5 minute walk of the center of town. There is a Tesco Express downstairs and an onsite restaurant called Thyme. The hotel has a modern feel to it and everything is clean. The rooms are comfortable although we did have some outside noise in the morning with delivery trucks. There is no onsite parking except for disabled permits but you can buy a 24 hour parking pass from reception for £6 that will allow parking at a few locations in town. The closest is Longport which is a two minute walk and you can come and go throughout the day.

My wife and i had a fab stay at the City Centre Premier Inn in Canterbury, we both found our room to be very clean and tidy, staff were very friendly, it was super value and close to all city centre amenities, had the breakfast it nicely cooked and good value for money.

We would highly recommend a stay if planning to stay in Canterbury.

Stayed overnight at Premier Inn. Had booked a disabled access room and standard double. Really good customer service, the day before we were phoned to tell us there was disabled parking to the rear. And when we arrived the receptionist changed our rooms so we had a disabled room with a wet room, and a double near by. Rooms were clean bright and adequately decorated. The wet room was lovely, plenty of rails and room. Breakfast next morning was yummy, freshly cooked and cheerfully served Brilliant location for visiting city.

Room Tip: Room 403 with wet room also has views of the Cathedral
