We've never stayed in a Premier Inn before due to the thought of finding Lenny Henry in my bath, but we were very pleasantly surprised when we had a weekend here while visiting Canterbury. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is still very new so was clean and fresh. It's in a great location, close to the city centre and plenty of places to eat. Breakfast in the hotel was spot-on. Cheap parking is close by. I'd be very happy to stay here again, and might even consider a Premier Inn elsewhere.

We booked this hotel very last minute ( an hour before arrival) as we were visiting in Canterbury and decided to stay over. We visit Canterbury regularly and last time we stayed at the travel lodge which was ok but very noisy. The premier inn had only one room left which was a disabled room which was somewhat larger than the normal rooms and that was fine. Their policy is a good night's sleep or your money back and I must say that it was probably one of the most comfortable rooms we have ever stayed in, we had a great night's sleep so no refund was due! The bed was very large and very comfortable and the room itself was nicely furnished. We had the usual TV and tea making facilities which is always nice to have. We booked breakfast which was of a good standard and plentiful if a little expensive. This hotel is in a good location being only a few minutes walk from the centre of Canterbury. The only downside is there is no parking facility but there is a public car park just a few minutes walk away. The hotel did offer a reduced price for a 24 hour period of, I think, £6, but we had already parked and were not staying that long so didn't take them up on that offer. As we booked last minute we did pay quite a lot for the room compared with the price if you book well in advance but it was still reasonable value for money as it really was very comfortable.

Super room at a super price. This is a new hotel that I have already stayed in a couple of times when visiting my son at University. It is well located, great value for money and has good sized and well sound proofed rooms offering all the facilities you could need. Staff are personable and knowledgeable.

This is a typical Premier Inn in a convenient place to visit Canterbury town centre on foot. We stayed here the night before our cruise departed from Dover, because it was cheaper , but only 10/15 mins drive to the cruise terminal. Usual room, clean, comfortable, great bed and pillows, and good size bathroom and towels. Usually we stay in Premier Inns in London, and do not eat in them, so I feel I need to comment on the breakfast, which was not good. The hot buffet was not in operation, so our order was taken by a waitress. We went for the traditional fry up. The fried egg was rubbery, bacon undercooked, and the toast machine burnt both sides of the bread. We sent the eggs back, but the replacements were almost as bad. And the tea bags were inferior quality. Definitely not worth the price. There is a Waitrose directly opposite and I would recommend guests to go there instead. we wished we had done that.

I stayed here last week for five nights on business. The hotel is only about six months old, and due to the busy road it is on, has been very well sound insulated. There is an on site restaurant which does great breakfast, as well as a Tesco express on the ground floor of the building, which is really handy. I stay in quite a few hotels, and Premier Inn are consistently my favourites for the comfort of the beds.

We spent a weekend in Canterbury at this new Premier Inn with 2 teens. Lovely hotel in good location with good sized family room. I was amazed at how quiet the bedroom was considering that we were in a corner room at the front. The triple glazing does its job well. Very good choice at breakfast and the room/breakfast deal was very good value. The parking is not an issue if you are aware when you arrive that you can park in the small car park to offload cases and buy the parking ticket which you fill in with the date and time. The NCP car park is open air and 3 minutes walk away.

We have just come back from spending one night here.
It was such a shame,me and the husband could have easily spent a week there no problem.
For a start the room was spotless everything was brand new.
The bed was so comfy that I wanted to take it home with me,Infact we are getting the same bed when we are buying another one.
Location is excellent near to shops, bars and restaurants.
A very special mention to the staff at the check in,and barman patrick, who is great.
If anyone says bad things about this hotel they must be so fussy, because you can't fault it
