Stayed at the The White House at the end of November 2012 for a long weekend. Very attractive building set down a side road in the heart of Canterbury. Was greeted by Adrian who was very friendly and efficient. The rooms were comfortable, of good size, and nicely decorated, and a nice comfy bed. Breakfasts were lovely. Adrian was very helpful in providing information on where to eat and to visit, and welcomed feedback on various places in Canterbury. Overall a very nice place to stay, although it may seem a little pricey, it was worth it as the location is so central and it is a great place to stay. The only comment was that one of the rooms was at the front of the building and the street (although a small side street) was a bit noisy at night, but think due to celebrations of the university students that had graduated that day so probably a one off. I would definitely recommend The White House and hope to stay again soon.
