The b & b is right in the middle of town. Car parking is 100 yards away. The room was to a high standard. The breakfast was well cooked and served quickly. The owner is very helpful and polite. Recommended.

From the moment I called to make my reservation and spoke to the owner and host of THE Whitehouse, Adrian, I knew I had made a good choice...
I arrived on September 21st, jetlagged and emotional, since my only child was leaving home to attend university in the U.K. Adrian and Sharon were our hosts and by the end of my week's stay, they were like true friends.
The accomodations ( I took the upstairs room with King size bed and it was a true KING size!!) The room was clean, spacious and had all the ammenities one could ask for. The bed was comfortable, the shower excellent and the breakfasts were always fresh and hot.
We had a few tense moments when my daughter looked as If she would be returning home with me. She too was jetlagged and overwhelmed. Thankfully, everything worked out splendidly, and Adrian was there to lend an ear and a friendly smile. He gave us excellent advise as to where to buy dorm room sundries, he directed us to excellent eateries and always with a friendly smile. Both Sharon and Adrian take great pride in their home and it shows. The location is the best, everything in Canterbury is close by, and we wouldn't stay anywhere else other than the Whitehouse . Seeing as my daughter will be at the university for at least 2 years, I am hoping to visit The Whitehouse again in the near future.

Just returned from a night's stay and were really impressed. We were made very welcome, the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Excellent shower and most importantly very quiet. The breakfast was all locally sourced and very good. Location wise - just a few minutes walk to all the sights..

This place is soooo sweet, the decor has really been thought out and the time the owners have taken with it shows they are passionate about their business. Love this place, the breakfast was great too, and the owner was so friendly and it was so nice to be so close to the high street. We usually stay in Canterbury at least once a year, and will definitely be going back to this place now we have found such a little gem.

Stayed 4 nights in this B&B for preparing my daughter's boarding school term start. Adrian and Sharon of the White House are nice and extremely helpful. Room and bedding are clean, comfortable and home-feel. Location is very convenient but quiet. Breakfast is very good: three choices of hot dishes, plus yogurt, corn flakes, fruits, home made jams, a classic English breakfast overall. Love to stay here! Will visit again definitely!

This B&B is very centrally located in Canterbury.

The rooms are very good, the breakfast was great, and the owners are very helpful

Although there's no car park for the B&B, the owners have arranged a £6 a day fee for a oublic car park very close

We spent 2 nights at the White House for a weekend getaway. It was very easy to find from the station and Adrian had already spoke to us to help with travel arrangements. We couldn't believe how close it was to the main high street, yet also on a nice quiet road.

We were greeted fantastically - Adrian had even made our room up for us early as our train arrived before check-in. The house is lovely with fantastic period features, stylishly decorated with contemporary touches and great mood lighting.

Our room was beautiful, bright and spotless. We really appreciated the small touches - the fresh flowers, the music at breakfast and the selection of books/dvds. Adrian was incredibly helpful with advice on getting around, places to go and things to see. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection of food and drink.

Overall we'd highly recommend - the owners clearly put a lot of time and care into their house and their guests.
