Has to be the most friendly bed and breakfast i have ever stayed in, Mark and Tam are simply the best hosts as their priority is to make you feel comfortable and essentially, at home. The breakfast cooked up by Mark is exquisite, and conversing with Tam during the breakfast is duch a delight. My room was very clean and comfortable. i cannot find any flaws with this bed and breakfast. i'd recommend everyone to stay here during their trip to Canterbury, and im more than happy to return again with my family during the holidays! Thank you Mark and Tam.

Can't recommend the friendly hospitality we received rom Mark and Tam more. We've been back to stay a number of times and really view Arcacia as a home away from home. Mark and Tam a fountain of knowledge about Canterbury and Mark turns out a fantastic breakfast. The free range eggs a nice touch.

Tam and Mark have by now almost accommodated my entire family over the time of the 3 years I studied in the UK. The B&B is at an equal distance from university and town, about 20 minutes by foot either way, which we have found very convenient, just like the parking spot that was available for us to use each time. We have used most of the rooms over this long time period and it was always comfortable, cosy and clean. You can expect great hospitality during your stay and breakfast is very social. We have been happy to return each time and with my parents I will be back again for my congregation in July!

What a welcome! We arrived at Acacia Lodge after a very 'hot' journey to be greeted with ice creams! Our room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Tam and Mark were the perfect hosts. We were also able to park our car for the duration of our stay which was a huge bonus! We will definitely return when we visit our family in Canterbury. Thank you

A very nicely modernized and comfortable room, and Tam was an excellent and accommodating hostess. Breakfast was excellent. I would certainly stay here again.

We stayed at Acacia Lodge when going to wedding nearby. It was a very brief visit and I had looked at many hotels which were unable to accommodate us. It was then when I looked at Acacia after seeing good reviews on trip advisor. They we extremely accommodating and understanding of our early arrival time. A very friendly couple look after the lodge and advised us where to go in town, best taxis to the airport etc. and we more than happy to help us out in any way. The rooms were comfotable and spotless. Finished off with an excellent breakfast before our homeward journey. I would definitely go again.

I work in the Marketing Department of a large company that organises Study Tours to the UK, and when three of our adult guests found themselves arriving in Canterbury with no-where to stay because of a booking mix-up, Tam and Mark, the proprietors, stepped in to sort them out the same night. Well, it was actually about 1am by the time everything was sorted.

Unbelievably helpful of them :-) We recommend them unconditionally.
