We knew the room was going to be small but that wasn't a problem as we didn't plan to spend too much time in it. The owner seemed quite pleasant and gave us the key to the front door and explained how we would get in in the evening. We noticed the room was very cold when we arrived but when we returned in the evening it was like a fridge. Luckily my husband is a Carpenter so he was able to fix the window which had come off its runner so we were able to stop the wind that had been blowing through it but unformtunatly this was not until the following morning. The sheets did not look too fresh. There was no heating at all and no hot water in the morning. When my husband went to tell someone in the morning at 9am there wasn't anyone at all in the Hotel. I believe the owner had stayed elsewhere! When he did arrive he came into our room to turn on the boiler.......half an hour later there was still no hot water or heating! We gave up at this point and left without having our breakfast as we wanted to find somewhere to warm up. Such a shame as the Hotel looked so promising and is in such a brilliant location. Very disappointing in deed.
