Owner description: Nestled in the North Kent downs and surrounded by picturesque woodland lies the beating heart of British karting and following the recent redevelopment by the late John Surtees CBE, it is put simply, one of the most stunning motorsport locations in the United Kingdom. Buckmore Park has been making pulses race for over fifty years. Since its launch in 1963, it has become the breeding ground for many young drivers, eager to cut their teeth before moving on to different types of motorsport, this list includes Triple F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton & Jenson Button. But aside from being a bona fide, blue-blooded race circuit, Buckmore has something to offer everyone, no experience necessary. Whether it’s for that first taste of motorsport or just another box checked on the bucket list, thousands of adults and children flood to the circuit each year to experience the twist, turns and adrenaline rush of driving on hallowed tarmac. During the spring and summer months there is plenty of availability for all ages four plus. Book online, put the pedal to the metal and be sure to leave smiling from ear to ear.

“Great Circuit - Poor Staff and Karts”
Reviewed 23 May 2014

Been there quite a few times and love the track its one of the best in the country without a doubt and has great facilities all round.

The karts however are horrific. The Sodi kart is essentially a tank that you have to climb into like a bathtub. They are fairly fast but do not handle at all.

The marshals seem to not be the slightest bit interested in the event and after continually being used a brake for another guy and the marshals just shrugging at it i did do it back but tit for tat and all that.

After the event this chap decided he would threaten me amongst other things and all the staff shrunk off into the distance even when other customers went to fetch them to sort it out.

Overall quite poor sort it out Buckmore!

“As someone going through mid life crisis I loved it.”
Reviewed 16 May 2014

I treated myself to a spin as middle ages woman and despite the slight headache afterwards from bumping around when going through the corners it was good fun.

The place is ok but does have an unpolished sort of feel to it and it certainly caters for a specific market considering its location but hey-ho who cares. It was bank holiday when I went therefore it was busy but the wait was reasonable. I enjoyed my kart spin and will certainly be back for more.

“Karting for Kids”
Reviewed 20 February 2014

Took the kids karting. Didn't advertise in the website that they weren't doing the older ones on the day we went which was a bit annoying and means will have to come back. But excellent to find a karting place for younger ones. My 5 year old loved it and then the 11 year old. The marshalling was a bit slack and probably could do with doing bit better on their health and safety. They could actually make more of it and a tad on the expensive side, but young children with big smiles and feeling they'd achieved went a long way

“Over rated”

Could do so much more as the location is great, easy to get to, elements are good but you need to work at finding a good spot to watch from. Like all karting places pricey.
