We stayed at this hotel for two nights and were delighted by the greetings we received upon arrival. The reception staff were both so friendly and helpful it was uplifting. We live in France and are used to good service here but unfortunately this has not always been the case in England. However, the level of service and the quality of the room was exceptional. It was also good to see a weekend menu where the meal deals and wine prices were reasonable. The day time menu looked a bit pricey and the wine especially so. This one assumes is for the business fraternity but others may be put off by this.

Room Tip: rooms at the back of the hotel although they overlook the air strip are suprisingly quiet

Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. I was so pleased to see you had such a great stay and compare us favourably with the great service that you get in France. I hope we can welcome you back again in the near future.

We stopped here half way through a mini tour with a theatre performance for 3 nights. We were fortunate enough to have our day off here. Made full use of the pool, spa, sauna and steam room to relax. A group of us had a lovely dinner in the restaurant also. Beautiful lamb. We spent all of our nights occupying the bar and sampling more from the menu. The sweet potato chips were a highlight. The rocky road sundae was disappointing though. More ice team and brownie than rocky road. Rooms and bathrooms were lovely and the staff were very helpful.

I'm so glad you were fortunate enough to have your day off at the Holiday Inn Rochester and were able to make such good use of the leisure facilities. They are an asset to the hotel. It was also great to read your comments about your dining experience and the rooms. Thank you for reviewing us, and I hope you get a chance to return sometime in the near future. Good luck with your theatre performances.

The hotel was easy to find, situated just 5 minutes drive from the M2 and M20, plenty of parking and ideal for visiting attractions in the area. It is also well equipped with a heated indoor swimming pool and gymnasium.
We stayed at the hotel for three nights in a executive room, arriving on Saturday evening. Check in was efficient and quick by friendly, professional staff. The room was excellent clean, comfortable and well equipped. We did experience noise outside of the room on a couple of occasions, this however was not the fault of the hotel but other, inconsiderate guests.
The bar area did not seem to be large enough for the size of the hotel, with a wedding party in progress on the Saturday night and a further function on the Sunday night seating was at a premium this however was not a major problem.
The dining room was plain and simple, again on the small side with seating, especially for breakfast, being limited. Breakfast was excellent although the service was a little bit hit and miss though in fairness to the staff, who were very friendly and worked really hard, it was an extremely busy period.
All in all we enjoyed our stay, all the staff were a credit to the hotel, friendly, helpful and professional no matter what position they held. I would recommend the hotel and would stay again with no question.

Room Tip: Choose an executive room if available, cost a little more but larger rooms with extra perks well worth it.

I'm so glad you found the hotel an excellent base location for your stay in Kent. It was great to hear that you found all the staff a credit to the hotel and that you would stay again. I look forward to welcoming you back.

Arrived saturday 25th May checked in at 7pm after a helish journey on the M25.Check In was quick and efficiet.Stayed in room 126 which was ok Twin beds which was a little tricky as there was me,Husband and Daughter.Went to the restaurant straight away they were not able to fit us in until 830 because there was a wedding party in the bar area.We needed to eat quickly as our Daughter needed to be in her bed so the front of house recommended the pub down the road.
Beds were comfortable although bit of a tight squeeze. No noise disturbance.Bedroom was typical for a Holiday Inn,
Breakfast was good Pool was great, Paid £112.00 for the night

Thank you for your review. I'm so sorry the restaurant was busy when you arrived but pleased to see the reception staff offered you an alternative option for dining. It was good to see that you enjoyed the use of the pool.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Room functional, clean the staff were all delightful, helpful and friendly. Also had breakfast and evening meal and although they were very busy nothing was too much trouble. Asked for extra milk for room, was there in 5 mins. It is a good hotel for a base. There are no frills or scenary just a perfect hotel as a base. Only one complaint but it was not he hotels fault. Too many children running about. There is also not a lot to see and you will have to use the car to get to places.

Room Tip: If there are lot of children you can hear them running around if you are on the lower floors. We had room 58 which is way from reception and normally would probably be very quiet unfortunately had what seemed like a herd of children above us but this did not spoil our enjoyment as it wasn't all night.

Thank you for reviewing the hotel. I am so glad you received such good service and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I hope we can welcome you back sometime when we have less children staying.
