Had a very nice meal, lovely food, good service had to hunt for the menus though? Ate at 1700hrs on a Friday. Had only one gripe, the tables in our area were sticky possibly due to the cleaning fluid reacting with the varnish, because they looked clean?

Went to the Waggon at Hale today after reading some poor reviews on trip adviser but cannot agree with the comments that were made - we were greeted warmly by Brian and the staff, food was outstanding and the staff make it a great visit. Can't believe the poor comments that were made. We will return for sure.

One of the best little treasure hiding in Chatham. Near Capstone Park, this gem is a lovely pub. Little dearer than usual wine prices £12.50 a bottle of house white, but not over the top. Worth paying the extra to sit in the nice garden with the farm animals and sunshine. Friendly staff, food looks delicious yet to sample still. Would recommend a visit, children will love the farm and play area. Couples and families also frequent here. Nice atmosphere whatever day/time.

my family of 10 people visited this elegant pub on bank holiday Monday in May. although there was a wait it was clear that it was super busy, a wait can't be helped if it's busy. meanwhile waiting for the food we chilled in the garden looked at the animals and had a laugh. it made the wait seem waitless. the food was of brilliant quality and was extremely tasty...well worth the wait. I'd recommend this pub to anyone and everyone who understands how a busy pub operates...your not going to get your food immediately. will be visiting very soon!
