“Worth a trip”

Dockside Outlet Centre

Spacious with lots of free car parking. Plenty of places to eat, whether for a coffee or a full meal. Good mix of shops too. Combine with a visit to cinema, Dickens World or Historic Dockyard.

If you are visiting The Historic Dockyard or Fort Amhurst combine the visit but not worth making a special shopping trip. Chatham Maritime should be viewed as a whole attraction. The Dockside Outlet and the immediate area consist of the multi-screen Odeon Cinema, also the following places to eat Nando's, Subway, Pizza Hut, Real China, Chimichanga (Mexican), DeansDiner (American) and Zippers (Italian). In addition to these there is Porters, part of the Dickens World complex. In the outlet itself is Burger King, Caffe Fratelli and Boomers (the downunder café). Also not forgetting the Ship & Trades (Shepherd Neame)
Chatham and the Dockside Outlet have been the victim of the economic downturn like many other places but as I said Chatham Maritime as a whole is worth a visit. Not to forget the free parking!

Disappointing to say the least... litter everywhere outside & and open over flowing waste-bins by the bus stop! This place has gone down hill since our last visit. Turning into a another scruffy outlet with loads of empty units.................

Good place to come for a quick look for clothing, jewellery, shoes or household items. Good range of eateries, The Range is worth a look for just about everything.

A dying retail outlet wasting nice architecture. Empty shops and the throngs long since moved on. I don't understand how this venue could have withered given its historical setting
