I can't believe that its taken me 6 years of living near by to find this place!! A lovely country pub with a great atmosphere. Very friendly staff, who were very helpful in adjusting their menu for my fussy one. I had the pork belly which was divine. Very generous portion sizes & reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit.

Whilst tucked away from the main road (3/4 mile down track), the pub, and its restaurant, are worth visitng. It is also a good hiking pub. The restaurant offers good food at reasoanable prices. Recommended

We usually go for a Sunday walk to this pub and have the roast dinner.

The location is perfect hidden away in the woods with a large garden area, great for the summer. The inside is like a traditional pub, open fire etc.

The staff are always very attentive and since the new ownership it's much more friendly.

As said we have only had the roast, a little overpriced compared to some in the area and not as good quality but still nice - same vegetables for about a year though!

It's annoying you can only book a table at 12 or 2 on a Sunday as they do 2 sittings but apparently they are changing this.

Lovely old style country pub and restaurant. Have had sunday lunch in restaurant, very good food and good value for money. Large outdoor area and play area for children and large parking area. Have also had bar meals, generous portions for the price. We often walk to the Robin Hood, lovely countryside and view along the way. Staff also friendly and helpful.
