No questioning the food at this restaurant is great however the customer service is truly awful.

We were there with a big party (20) so our order was taken in 3 differnt groups, which is fair enough.

1 groups starters arrived whilst the rest of the table had to wait 25 minutes. By the time the other groups finished their starters that mean the 1st group waited ages for their main.

When the main orders did come various dishes where missing so we politely asked if we could have the missing dishes only to be told "youll have to wait". Shocking!

Finaly as its a buffet menu, one of the party ordered one more dish that finaly arrived after all the places had been cleared and he was expected to eat the dish from the serving plate and he was "kindly" given a fork!

My partner an I had a meal together on a Saturday night which we had pre-booked. When we were shown to our seat (which was a small table squeezed right at the back next to the toilets!) I asked for another table as you practically had to ask the poor person on the table in front to move every time one of us would have wanted to get out. We were eventually moved to another table which was better near the front of the restaurant. The service was ok but eventually slowed down due to a large party upstairs. Some of the staff didn't seem very confident when taking our orders. They also didn't seem very friendly and appeared stressed which was quite off putting. Most of the food turned up ok apart from a slight problem (a chicken curry being served when we had ordered beef). Due to it being so busy and needing to leave at a certain time we did not complain. Overall the food was nice but the service and atmosphere of the restaurant was very very average. I was a little disappointed and would not make this place my first choice for a meal out again. Some more modern decor (to add a bit of atmosphere) and more confident and happy staff would maybe make me change my mind.

Never had a bad meal, the staff are great always friendly, food is fantastic and very quick, never any parking close by but the walk back to the car is always good to burn off the extra food as we always over eat, def recommend the chicken chow mein and crispy duck.

Eaten here quite a few times and food is consistantly good. Good value too. Parking can be a bit tricky.

Some mixed reviews on here, but reasonable choice for £8 for starter, main and Chinese tea or coffee. My chicken and sweet corn soup did not stint on the chicken, and the sweet and sour pork was favoured with peppers, pineapple and carrots. The staff were quite prompt but not conversational. They occupied themselves with folding linen napkins for perhaps a busier evening. Did they forget to put out salt and pepper? - prawn crackers were provided however. There is a takeaway next door, and both had the courtesy to inform diners of Christmas opening times. If you come in at noon, keep your coat on as the restaurant heating was just kicking in, but the English Christmas music was turned up for my benefit. This end of Dover not too affluent which may explain lack of other diners, who perceive a buffet in a competitor as the best value
