the second time that we stayed here and we will come back for sure!

It was again an excellent stay - we even got a free upgrade to a bigger room. Room was very nice and large - nice new bathroom - TV - free internet - very quiet.

Gary was very pleasant as usual and we even got a doggy bag for breakfast in the morning, because we had to leave very early.

Thank you very much for a very pleasant stay!

We decided to stay in Dover to make our early ferry to Calais a lot easier, and picked Crabble Hill House as the building looked gorgeous and the reviews were excellent. To be honest these didn't do it justice.
We arrived mid afternoon to be welcomed by Gary as if we were long lost friends. We were shown around the house before being taken to our room, which was beautiful. We were in the Bay Room which was warm and welcoming. Lovely bed and authentic furniture with tea and coffee making facilities (very nice cups), cold water and glasses. The shower room was large and immaculate with good shower and again lovely furnishings.
We were recommended to try a pub in one of the nearby villages for dinner and I am delighted that we did. We went to the Fox in Temple ewell and much like Gary I would highly recommend this splendid old pub.
Upon returning to the house we found a warm room and slept very well despite overlooking the road due to the superb glazing. The following morning we woke early and met Gary in the breakfast room (what a view!) for a freshly cooked breakfast, cereal, fruit, toast - even vege sausages!
Once breakfast was over Gary showed us the best way to go to avoid the heavy traffic and ensure we catch our ferry in time.
Frankly we could not have been happier with the Crabble house. This is a perfect place for a very relaxing stay and I can't recommend it highly enough.

From arrival until departure, felt so comfortable here. After the long slog through France, followed by a cancelled ferry, we were ready for a good rest. Arrived at Crabble Hill, and was made to feel welcome straight away. After being shown around, we went up to our room. Clean, tidy, comfortable, tea, coffee, TV ... everything we needed. Quiet at night, despite being close to the road, meant a lovely night's sleep. Could not have wished more from breakfast, but am sure if we had wanted anything extra it would have been provided. Lovely little touches around the place which made it more homely. Other hotels and guest houses should visit and learn how a place can feel like a home to weary travellers. 10 out of 10!

It would be difficult to improve on this lovely Guest House and most attentive host, Gary. Rooms have obviously been renovated with nothing spared and the bathrooms are great. Free WiFI (which works!) and an excellent breakfast. A very comfortable stay That I'd be happy to repeat. Oh, and excellent value, too!

Spent four days getting shopping in England last week, and stayed in a fantastic Guest House in Dover. The room I had was one of the best I have experienced. It was large warm and furnished with all you required to make your stay enjoyable. The owner Gary was the perfect host, and the quality of the breakfast, and choice, was a joy to eat. I enjoyed my stay at Crabble Hill House so much, that I have booked my stay there in the summer already. This is the perfect stay for good hospitality ,comfort, and superb food.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good. Mine was facing the rear and had unrestricted veiws of a beautiful garden,an...

This is our first but not last visit to this exceptional small hotel. Gary is a superb host and to be commended in every way. We stayed in "Mulberry" which is a large beautiful room with a large (but slightly chilly shower room). We had a splendid tea tray in the room and every amenity including wifi, TV, decent hair drier, a good ironing board and very clean iron. Everything was just perfect and very cozy with plenty of care taken to show us how to use the facilities and where to find things such as extra throws for the bed. Breakfast was so good and the choices again more in line with good hotels, I had the kippers and a grilled tomato and my husband had the full English both faultless. I think that we will be regulars here for many years to come. A slight downside is the parking which is a bit tight and to be avoided if icy. For anyone interested in dining out in the evening please try 'The Allotment' in town another absolute gem. Thank you again Gary.

Room Tip: Bring a good appetite, and get down early for a table in the picture window.

I was in a hurry to find a decent B & B for 1 night in Dover, that would accept my dog! I was lucky to find this super little guest house. Gary made me and Archie feel very welcome. We both felt so much at home and I slept so deeply in the comfortable bed I missed the breakfast! A place for anyone, anytime at great value!
