Don't want to write to many nice things about this place in case when I want to use it next time, it is full.
Rooms big and spacious, beds comfortable, off road parking and close by are places to eat - see Blakes. Breakfast is in their other guest house a couple of doors away and comes under the category of 'hearty'. Just the start before and early morning ferry, the port being less than 5 minutes away. Would come here again.

Alistair and Betty are great hosts and the room and facilities were superb. Good location, walk to town centre, close to castle, good restaurants nearby for dinner. On site parking and wifi too.

What a surprise. We stayed the night prior to a ferry crossing. Very comfortable Alex welcomed us and showed us to our room and where to park the car. Breakfast was fantastic Alastair and Betty the owners are a fantastic double act. Betty's description of Alastair as a cross between a Dictator and Basil Fawlty was spot on. Looking forward to staying again.

B&B's are always a bit of a lucky dip, but this one is a winner!
My wife and I were scared away from the waterfront by the horrendous prices for a bed only, and were starting to despair. We looked at a few B&B's from the street, however the Churchill was the first one we actually approached.
We were given a few options, but we fell in love with the room with the fancy four-poster bed.
The facilities were everything we needed, but the breakfast was the icing on the cake.
Our hosts were extremely attentive and friendly in an unintrusive way that really made us feel at home.
We definitely recommend Churchill Guest House as the place to stay if you are in Dover.

and that definitely includes the hosts! I had a cosy single room, with lovely large en-suite, overlooking a wilderness of tropical-style planting. The whole house has an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, and I positively looked forward to getting back for a second night after a brief holiday in Europe. Lovely breakfast with splendid conversation. Easy walking to the port. If I return to Dover I shall be very disappointed if 'my' room isn't waiting for me.

Room Tip: Mine was Chartwell at the back and very quiet

Stayed one night at this marvellous BNB. Alastair and Betty are charming hosts and will help with lots of information. Car parking is not a problem either. We stayed in the Clementine room. I had previously asked for the Winston but when it saw Clemy I had to stay there instead. Beautiful room and a big bathroom with lots of hot water and the whitest towels I have ever seen in any hotel/BNB. Breakfast was a feast. A beautiful house awaits you when you stay here. If you are going on the ferry to Calais the walk is about ten minutes all downhill. Cash only accepted. Extremely reasonable rates for what you get. Would highly recommend this BNB.

Room Tip: Clementine faces the street but there was no noise.
