My husband and I also visited The White Horse on the evening of Monday 17th October. We had enjoyed drinks there on a previous visit and read the reviews here. We decided to eat and ordered fish and chips. This turned up pretty quickly but the chips/wedges were burnt, peas cold, and the small amount of fish enclosed in the over crispy batter was dry. We did mention to the landlord that we were disappointed, and why. He didn't seem surprised at the quantity of food left on our plates, offered no apology but said he would tell the chef. We got no feedback whatsoever so now suspect that this poor standard is the norm. We will not8 visit there again.
