Really recommend it, can't believe I've lived here all my life and not done it before (didn't know about it). Can understand why it's the No1 attraction in Dover on here. Took our 4 year old son who had a great time too. Will definitely be back to do it again.

“Exciting and enjoyable trip!”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

We experienced very good customer service while using our Groupon voucher. We thought that using the voucher provided great value for money, however, at full price would be a little on the expensive side. Despite this, we would thoroughly recommend the Dover Sea Safari trip. We've lived in the area for 7 years and yet we learnt a lot more about Kent's coastal towns and the White Cliffs.

All staff were very friendly and keen to help. Safety procedures were explained thoroughly and they ensured that we felt comfortable all the time. We took our own coats, but used their waterproofs in the end because they provided better protection. Our own coats could be left behind the reception. Although it was a very hot July day on land, we found that having a cardigan and the waterproof was still necessary at sea.

The outward journey was relaxed and informative, but upon our return, we sped our way back from Deal to Dover in no time at all, which was very exhilarating, including some showing off by James with his figure of 8!

Plenty of photo opportunities, but just make sure that you protect your camera from splashes when the boat slows down!

Overall would recommend this for tourists and locals alike.

“Professional, safe and lots of fun.”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

This is a must do when in Dover. It's fun for adults and children alike.
First, the booking process was extremely easy, with lots of follow-up emails and reminders. Second, they are extremely easy to find as they are basically based by the seafood restaurant on the beach.
The guys in charge were extremely professional, got us all in our waterproofs and lifejackets with lots of explanations and safety briefings along the way. There was a nervous passenger in the group and they made the passenger feel extremely comfortable and relaxed.
After getting all our kit on, we had a five minute walk to the boat in the harbour. Again lots of briefings and reminders of how to remain safe and not fall in the water.
The boat itself is huge, spacious, solid and comfortable. After a gentle ride out of the harbour, they then opened up and got very close to the cliffs. From thereon was frequent stops with explanations, pointing out interesting features and history.
The trip itself lasted quite a long time and was much longer than anticipated. Getting back was at high speed with lots of thrills and spray all over, however you stay very dry because of the waterproofs they provide. Do make sure that you put on sunscreen on as we all got a little sunburned.
Was easy to return equipment and we stuck around the restaurant for a nice drink and meal.
Overall the price was a little high, but the crew is extremely professional, safe and provide a huge amount of entertainment. There is a bathroom but little place to store bags etc
Take sun screen and sun glasses

“Memorable expereince!”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

I was very impressed with how well Dover Sea Safari is organised - from the ease of navigating the website and making a booking to the e mail I received when I got home thanking me for visiting! Their attention to detail is exceptionally good. All safety information and practical advice about the trip was clear and straightforward. As well as life jackets, we were supplied with waterproof trousers and jackets which we were very glad of as it was quite cold out at sea.Our guide was very friendly and went out of his way to ensure that everyone was happy and comfortable at every stage of the journey. His talk about the history of the coast was very interesting, entertaining and inclusive. It was a highly memorable experience and excellent value for money. Definitely recommended.
