My partner myself and two friends travelling from Australia stayed in September and found it to be excellent Martin our host made us most welcome nothing was to much trouble for him. The house is easy walking distance to town and pubs and Dover castle was just up the hill . All in all a great place to stay and a lot of fun thank Martin .

The "Friendliest Landlady in the UK" award that hangs on the lobby wall is no exaggeration, although it is not entirely accurate since the landlady is Mr. Martin Casey. Bleriot's B&B has clean, well maintained, sunny rooms in a striking Victorian in a quiet neighborhood that is a short walk from the village center. The windows look out over Dover with views as far as Western Heights, and having stayed there many times, I've come to love opening the windows wide and watching the birds flying in miles of open sky. Mornings are a fantastic start of the day with Martin's playful personality and excellent breakfasts cooked by his wife Mandy and served in a lovely dining room. There is also a lounge where guests can gather and there is often a jigsaw puzzle in progress. Prices are good and the atmosphere is welcoming. There is lots of laughter. This is our favorite place to stay in Dover.

Room Tip: All the rooms are nice, and there is a variety of layouts. Top floor rooms have the best views.

We stayed over night here from our trip through Dover on our way to Leeds. The inn keeper, Martin Casey was a pleasure to be around. He made a wonderful breakfast and was quite animated and full of discussion. The rooms were nice and clean, and he offers wifi. Only down side, staying on the top floor you have to carry your luggage up, no lift, but we didn't mind. There were not many places nearby to eat, but did find a pub and the food was delicious. I'd recommend this inn for visitors to the Dover area.

Lovely rooms in a B&B, tucked away up by the Park and on the way to the Castle, with perfect breakfast options. Easy walk down to swim. Most importantly, fabulous support from Martin, the host whose ease in meeting the needs of single travelers and the disparate groups (Channel swimmers, academics, adventurers...) who were there when we were, still makes me smile.

Visiting Dover every year, and normally staying at the absolutely fabulous Nr. 1 Guest House, we had to make alternative arrangements on our return from Europe this year. Looking for a good value family room in a B&B, accommodating two adults and two teenagers, I found the 'Bleriot' on-line and liked the name and the look. What a stroke of good luck! From the initial phonecall to our arrival and for the whole stay: you could't find a friendlier and more accommodating host! The en-suite room was spacious, very clean, homely and well equipped. The breakfast was fantastic, huge choice, good value and the friendliest service ever. And a bit of adventure thrown in, by listening to a group of american channel swimmers at one of the other tables, talking about their efforts and achievements. All in all a great place, I just wish we could have stayed longer!

I spent just the one night here but hope to come back again to explore more of this part of Kent (especially the castle). The room was very clean and comfortable with a view of the Dour valley and I had no trouble getting a good night's sleep. The breakfast was good with plenty to choose from.

Martin the owner, who was very welcoming, had excellent knowledge of most of the sites around Dover worth visiting and also places to have an evening meal for which the hotel is ideally situated as it just 15 minutes walk down to the centre of Dover itself.

Martin was incredibly hospitable. He provided excellent recommendations for dinner the night we arrived, showed us around our room and greeted us very cheerfully for breakfast the next morning. I also left a valuable in my room by accident and he very kindly searched the room for it and posted it to me without delay. The room for four people was cosy and very clean. Checking in was easy and breakfast was delicious. The location was ideal - not too far from restaurants and the waterfront but also on a quiet street - and there was off-street parking. I'd certainly recommend Bleriot's!
