“White Cliffs Geo Tours - exactly what I wanted.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 August 2013

Most tours have a set schedule of places to visit. I think my favorite part of this tour was that fact that White Cliffs Geo Guides were willing to take us wherever we wanted and change the schedule at the last minute.
We came off a Baltic Cruise, and Dover, England was the last stop. When we met Simona/Richard, I pleaded, “Please – no more castles or churches”. Of course, our first stop was the White Cliffs of Dover. On a whim, and based upon what we wanted, they took us on a tiny dirt road to the famous Lighthouse you see up on the hill (other tour groups wont take your right up to the lighthouse because it is a road that is too tiny for tour buses, and it is full of potholes). We ate lunch in Kingston at a Pub right on the beach. Next we went through the smuggling town of Deal and onto Sandwich where we had Cream Tea and Scones and of course some Ale. I definitely want to visit Sandwich again – what a quaint little town. In fact, I think it was my favorite places on the entire tour!
Either way, the fact that Simona and Richard were so accomodating to our wishes was wonderful.

“Great experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 April 2013

My husband and I went on a tour of Dover, Deal, and Canterbury in April 2013. When we booked the trip, we expected to be on a large tour with many people. Imagine our surprise and delight when we learned it was a private tour! Les was extremely knowledgeable about the area and it's geology, and was able to answer all our questions. He also tailored our tour to our specific interests, and brought us to several locations that were off the beaten path. We saw a recent cliff fall from the white cliffs, a beautiful historic lighthouse, Canterbury, and more. To top it off, it was very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a tour near Dover, you absolutely should go with the White Cliffs geo tours.

“Special Tour with Big Family Group”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 December 2012

We had family from the US come visit us in London for Thanksgiving. We were a group of 13 - ages 8 to 84. The group really wanted to fit in a trip to Canterbury and a visit to Leeds Castle. The folks at White Cliff's Geotours helped customize a very special day and we managed to hit all the spots we wanted. We wish we had more time to do another day of touring with Leslie and Simona. We definitely recommend them!

“Excellent Personal Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 September 2012

We were expecting a group of tourists but luckily we were the only people on the tour. Simona & Leslie were excellent guides and created a tour just for us. We saw views all along the White Cliffs and a number of historic sights, including the South Foreland LIghthouse and the Norman Church at Barfreston. We had fish & chips at a pub in Sandwich. We learned much more about the area than we would have on a big group tour and went places where a bus could not have gone. And we now know where Ian Fleming came up with "007" for James Bond. We would recommend any tour that Simona and Leslie are giving.

“Excellent Day Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2012

A very nice day tour, combining traveling through the beautiful English countryside. Great communication. Extremely informative and very punctual. Instead of the busy cruise excursions I found this to be an incredible alternative. The White Cliffs of Dover and surrounding areas are just staggering so a day trip to see them is worthwhile. What a great time spent with Les & Simona!
