The owner has been nice and welcoming, but three things wrecked our stay.
First, the noise from trucks and cars just outside the windows continued throughout the night and made it really difficult to sleep - even for me, and I'm usually not picky about it.
To make matters worse, the bed was old and uncomfortable. Those fancy country-style iron bed-heads are not fun when they rattle with your every movement.
Third, the floor looked like it has not been cleaned since the XX century.
All in all, we decided to leave after one night instead of staying for four, even though the only replacement hotel we could find at the last minute was well outside of Dover.

We stayed there for two nights, after a few nights on the road at other B&Bs. The location is great, just 10 minutes to walk to Dover Castle and around 15 minutes to the harbour. The breakfast is fantastic, our room was light and big. Thankfully the bed was queen size, even a second bed was in the room.
We reserved a space for car parking, did not need it because we found a park just opposite the B&B. In the cost was WiFi included, which worked fine and was very fast.
On the internet the check in time was mentioned as after 4pm, we arrived earlier - no problem to check in.
That is a great place to stay in Dover and start trips to discover the area. If we go back to Dover we will stay there again.
