We try to use this palce every time we are crossing to France for the day or a weekend by Ferry, recently refurbished it is quiet classy and has like most Premier Inns very comfortable beds. we will stay there whenever we can find a really good deal.

Room tip: The rooms on the front are nice

Though the worst of a 'budget hotel' but was very surprised at the quality of the rooms and breakfast. Staff were excellent. A real surprise! We stayed to get the early ferry to France (two adults and children 8 and 6). From the outset the staff were great, the rooms looked new, very clean and to be honest I have staid in 4 star hotels that were not up to this standard. Very comfortable beds, and quiet (although the guests upstairs had a very excited child running up and down, but not the hotels fault). The only gripe was the lack of controllable air con - but not a show stopper. Would not hesitate to stop here again. A real surprise for somewhere we just needed to 'get our heads down'!

I have stayed here before, it has been refurbished since in the new colour scheme. Really classy looking. Friendly staff, good location and if you have a front room on higher floors, you can see France in the distance on a clear day. I would recommend.
