Our room was very nice and spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant with our two children one whom is autistic and it was a great. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I would def recommend a stay here.

We stayed here on the August Bank Holiday for a couple of nights. We had previously stayed here in November which we thoroughly enjoyed - before the refurbishment, not sure which I prefer really, they were both good and comfortable.

We were slightly disappointed by the TV - The main focus to the hotel was that all rooms had been renovated with a 40 inch TV and new shower head - The TV looked good on the wall but we could hardly hear it. It was set at a certain volume level, which we do understand so not to annoy other guests but the volume was too low especially with the other noices (constant fan in bathroom, which kept us awake through the night and traffic etc). My partner is partially deaf and in other hotels we have always been able to find subtitles - these simply did not work. It was a modern Samsung TV but obviously programmed so you could not change any settings - this was a huge disappointment to us and probably something we would consider when booking again.

This is a fantastic hotel if you are going across to France - about a 3 minute drive to the port. All staff are friendly both in the hotel and the Table Table restaurant - very busy though.

One more thing - the sign you hang on your door either says "do not disturb" or "please do not make up my room" - same thing to me really - you need one to say "please make up my room".

Finally I was a bit disappointed on check out that we were not asked whether we had had a good night's sleep.

Don't be disappointed by the gray building of this big hotel overlooking the sea, the inside is quite nice , very clean with lbig bathrooms and bedrooms. Very comfortable beds and a choice of pillows .... Perfectly insulated rooms , that will let you sleep like a log. You find the possibility in your room to make coffee and tea and if not enough you can get more at the reception. The parking is just in front . Very good prices and perfect if you have an early ferry or if you arrive late at night.

Second visit to this premier inn, the best in dover, very helpful staff, great food next door, very clean and has had a re vamp in the past six months , so a smart place to stay, car parking right outside so no problems there, and its only a ten min walk in to the town, give it a try.

Room Tip: ask for a room at the front if possible as you have a great view of the ships coming and going but...

nice hotel and good helpful staff,
we enjoyed our stay, the breakfast was very good but a bit expensive if you only have a coffee and croissant!
overall it was a nice stay, beautiful little city and sea shores with the famous white cliff just on the side , good to hiking, but be carefull of those kids in windy days on the cliffs!

Room Tip: ask a sea view

Stayed at the premier inn, dover, before sailing to Dunkirk.
Staff were accommodating, friendly and eager to offer help and advice.
The room was comfortable and a quality bed meant a good night's rest. As a bonus, Lloyds customers with a Gourmet card get a BOGOF deal on main meals in their comfortable and reasonable restaurant.

Our visit was outstanding. We suggest the Premier Inn to anyone planning a trip because you can't beat the price, the ambiance, the comfort and the food is out standing. Had a quiet fab night. No refund.!
