Good clean basic accommodation. I am using this guest house whilst I am working away from home staying four nights. A nice safe place to stay in a run down town spoilt by roads lorrys connected with the port.

Room Tip: Quite near Dover Priory Rail Station

Welcome is very warm, rooms spotless (if floral!). Breakfast good and filling. Only slight downside is the long walk into town but this is a minor detail. Everything else is superb - especially considering the highly reasonable price for bed and breakfast.

As an overnight stop ready to for an early morning ferry crossing, this bed & breakfast guest house was good value for money. The en-suite twin room (actually double bed + single bed) was clean and comfortable, though it would have been a bit cramped for a longer stay or triple occupancy.

An early 7 a.m. cooked breakfast was available. I'm not sure whether cereal was also on offer in additional to the fruit juice, fry-up and toast, but we were quite satisfied.

With a car full of musical instruments and speakers, the fact that the Guest House car park was locked overnight was a definite advantage.

We booked a double room and a single room and paid £71 in total, so this B&B didn't break the bank. The trade-off, though, was certainly in quality, as you'd expect. On entering the B&B, it smelt slightly grubby, in the way that carpets do when they're begging for a good hot clean! The rooms were acceptably clean and basic, but with tea/coffee making facilities. We shared bathrooms in the hall. Someone was having a shower in one bathroom, and it seemed to be working fine, but when I went into the other one there was just a dribble of cold water coming out of the showerhead. The handle to turn it on was decidedly grimy. Our travelling companion in the single room didn't fare any better, claiming to have had no hot water at all in the sink in the room.
There were two beds in the double room: a single and a double. The single was so soft it bent under your weight and the double was on the hard side of firm.
I would say this place is pretty budget. If I was stuck, I'd stay again to save some money, but it would have to undercut the next cheapest by a fair bit.

I stayed 2 nights there with my parents. Convenient location with easy access by local transport and on foot, only 15 minutes walk from town centre and 5-10 minutes drive to Eastern Dock (to Calais, France) and Eastern Dock (where my cruise ship docked). Daily room cleaning, steady supply of hot water and big portion of English breakfast are the top three things I appreciate the most.

Excelent place to stay with friendly and helpful staff. We had peace of mind with the secure parking. Clean and tidy rooms with a nice traditional english breakfast in the morning.
