This is very close to the A2 and expect traffic noise constantly. Staff and facilities are otherwise fantastic. No wheelchair access to first floor and pub/dining is an outside walk away from the hotel.

It's the first time we've stayed in a Premier Inn and we will definitely choose them over any other in future. The staff were all friendly at all times. Everything was spotless and very well thought through. Our room was airy, fresh, comfortable. It was very good value and we couldn't have wanted anything more. I would happily have stayed there for longer.

Room Tip: We were in room 19. Slight noise from the people in the room above but that can't be avoided. No...

Cannot understand the complaints for this hotel. We stayed here on a super deal for only £29 and what a steal. The reception guy was super.Ground floor room at the back of the hotel great.Enormous comfortable bed with a choice of pillows.
We ate at the restaurant which was excellant.Great service and good food.
Would definately stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel.

Room too hot. No ventilation without opening windows - as A2 road is just outside, there is too much traffic noise from heavy lorries to have windows open at night so room very hot and stuffy.
Restaurant poor and some 150 yards away from accommodation block - no great problem in fine weather but unacceptable in wet or cold weather

The traffic arrangements at this hotel are, to say the least, peculiar; and these led to one or two near encounters. Further a walkway between the Premier Inn and the Restaurant (which we were told is not owned by Premier) was ill-lit, dirty and altogether disgusting. The restaurant isn't up to much but for travelers probably OK. The Inn itself is OK on the rear side but potentially noisy on the road side.

Stayed here after driving 600 miles from France and a ferry journey. The receptionist was polite, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The family room (room 14) was comfy, clean and couldn't have been any better quite frankly. The Brewers Fayre next door is also a gem of a find.
Well done Premier Inn Dover East.

Room Tip: Room 14 was great.

After many years of staying in hotels from zero stars to 5 stars, this, surprisingly, was the first time I had stayed at a Premier Inn. Having done a couple of circuits of the petrol station in the dark and pouring rain I found my way in. The reception was efficient and friendly. We were told about the dining and breakfast arrangement (at the adjacent Brewer’s Fayre (see separate review) and advised that if there was anything we needed please just ask. The twin room was superbly clean and very spacious, despite the road outside the soundproofing was excellent. There was a large double bed and a good sized single. Extra coffee (including decaf.) etc. was readily available at reception and willingly offered. A good night’s sleep and a fresh start ready for the drive through France the following day. Thoroughly recommended.
