We stayed at the Castle Guest house for one night on our way to Belgium. Room was very comfortable and clean. Sharon was very friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of tips for places to go and eat. Breakfast was very good and we would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I had a lovely stay here. Great room, very clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious, with an excellent choice. Great location, just a few minutes away from the castle and town.
Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if in Dover.

We have just spent a night as we were visiting Dover castle and having a break away. Very clean and comfortable room on the first floor (Dover room). Sharon was very welcoming and recommended places to eat. We ate in Blake's which is a five minute walk down castle street. Excellent food with very generous portions. Breakfast at The Castle was wonderful, with fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals and cooked options - we both had the full English which was superb. Sharon is a great hostess offering more toast and tea if required and making sure all was well. We were able to park in the street outside the hotel so that wasn't a problem for us. Would recommend staying here to anyone.

We spent a night at this guest house prior to leaving on a 12-day cruise from the port of Dover. It is in a convenient location to the city center and within walking distance of the National Express bus terminal, which we took from Heathrow Airort.. The owner, Sharon, was very welcoming and friendly as she lead us to our third-floor room. My ratings speak for themselves in the cleanliness and other aspects of the accommodations. Furthermore, since our luggage had not made the connecting flight to Heathrow, Sharon was very generous in furnishing a disposable razor for my husband, toothbrush, toothpaste, and a cosmetic bag of useful toiletries to get us through until we boarded ship the next day and were lucky to have our missing luggage delivered to our cabin.. She was very accommodating to contact others in our group who were staying at another inn and to deliver messages from them.
The delicious "English breakfast" she prepared, served by her very sweet and efficient daughter Kya, was a wonderful start to the day. The nearby Dover Castle was an interesting historic site to visit.

This charming guest house is located (as the name suggests) quite close to Dover Castle. It is a typically lovely charming old house beautifully maintained, with clean comfortable rooms and a great atmosphere. The very friendly owner Sharon is a perfect hostess.who cooks up a great "full English breakfast" which is an experience itself. Served in a lovely basement dining room it is certainly a good start to a busy day. I was originally only intending to stay one night but I managed to extend my stay for an extra night. It is only a couple of minutes walk down to the business centre and the harbour, and also a sturdy 10 minute walk up to the castle. Definitely well worth a visit..
