I had a small double room which was very cosy. Host was very helpful and friendly, the location is very good, very close to Dover Castle and Cliffs. Breakfast was continental and for full breakfast there are additional fee.

We were visiting Dover to meet up with relatives whose cruise ship was stopping in Dover for the day and were so pleased that we decided to book a room at Hubert House for the night before our meet-up The location is perfect; it's close to the castle, within easy walking distance from the town centre and is ideal for a stop-over either before or after crossing the channel. We needed to park there in the morning, before the 16:00 check-in time, and emailed in advance to ask if this was possible. We received a prompt, friendly reply from Peter saying yes, which helped greatly with our planning. The guesthouse has retained its traditional feel without sacrificing comfort or convenience. Our bedroom was small but cosy with a good shower. Breakfast was excellent. We asked Peter to recommend a restaurant and we picked Dino's, a family-run Italian restaurant, which we would happily recommend to others. Make sure you also visit the pub next door.

Hubert House is at the foothills near the ferry port. If you need a place with easy access to the ferry port, this is the place to stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable and decorated in a high standard. Also not to expensive but of high standard.

We had a wonderful room, great bed, excellent bathroom and great hot breakfast we paid extra for. Peter recommended a wonderful restaurant for our evening meal. He also suggested that we not miss Dover Castle, we were glad we went. Would stay again.

This is a fantastic guest house. We arrived late and the staff we very helpful and accommodating to us after a 5 1/2 hour journey it was lovely to have a warm and friendly welcome. We were shown to our room a lovely large family room which was absolutely wonderful. The room was spotless and all the little touches in the room were a welcome surprise.

We were asked what time we would be checking out and as it was before breakfast, we were offered a breakfast tray in our room, again a lovely touch. We had fruit, cereal, yogurts, cereal bars, fresh orange juice. There are tea and coffee facilities with a great quantity of supplies (some hotels you only get 2 milks - there were loads)

The bathroom was also spotless and again the little touches of a robe and the toiletries were again a lovely touch.

The guest house was perfectly situated for the ferry terminal and although we didn't have time to explore Dover Castle we could see it from the guest house.

The final thing to mention which was bonus was the private car park to the right of the guest house.

Thank you for a fantastic stay i would highly recommend to all.
