Visited with a group of 10 friends to stay for a long weekend. Very accessible by train and car. The house was a delight to stay in terms of size, facilities and location. We walked to Margate which was about 10 miles which was most enjoyable with a good lunch in Broadstairs. Deanna was most helpful sorting out a number of small items. I would not hesitate to stay again
A large well equipped Victorian property 5 minutes from the beach. Very central and lots of room for a large family party. Rooms in the attic and in the basement but lots a space for intergenerational parties. Small-ish but attractive rear garden sun trap ideal for barbecues. Very reasonable for 6 bedrooms sleeping up to 14 people if necessary. We had a family celebration for 12 people.
Well placed for bars and dining within walking distance and an amazing Aircraft Museum on the outskirts of town. Canterbury, Dover, Deal and other Kent attractions within a reasonable driving distance - Aspinall's Animal Park, Woolmar Castle etc . Although parking is on the street, we never had any problems getting a space either outside the house or within 100 yards of the front door.
Owner very helpful and lots of information/ and house instructions for our stay.
I booked latimer house for my friends stag do and we were all very happy with the house it was lovley and it was perfect for we we needed and would happily go back there again
Planned a family weekend away to the seaside. 8 adults and 5 kids from 4months - 4yrs. Arrived on a gorgeous sunny Friday and took a lovely walk down to the beach. Less than 10 minute walk WITH the kids. Went to bed that night in a lovely room, all the way in the attic. A lot of stairs, but worth it when you get up there. Actually all the rooms are great here.
The next day it snowed and was freezing with so much wind! Ended up holed up inside all weekend and I can’t think of many places I’d rather be stuck.
The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is that there is a little draft from the windows which wouldn’t even be noticeable in the summer but in these winds wasn’t perfect.
A gorgeous place, lovely decor and very comfortable rooms. Plenty of space for the family and a lovely Ramsgate weekend away! (Also personally loved the historical pictures and letter in the downstairs loo!)
6 friends had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and well located property in Ramsgate.
So much space but also a cosy house with a delightful outside space for morning coffee.
A gentle stroll alongside the sea into the centre of town.
Tennis courts directly opposite which we took advantage of!!
Would recommend to friends sharing or for a family get together.
This is the second time we have stayed and we will be back!
