“Simply stunning break from London”
Reviewed 5 January 2017 for a stay in January 2017

We have been staying in the Regency Townhouse since before our children (now 7 and 9) were even born. A fabulous bolt-hole from our busy lives in London, every time we arrive we feel the weight lift from our shoulders and the sea air fill our souls. This house has clearly had such love poured into it with all of its gorgeous features and it gives it back to the people who stay in it. Whether we are laughing round the dinner table after a walk to the fishmongers in broadstairs, watching the kids bliss out in a bathtub full of bubbles or just lingering in the light that floods the rooms as we look out at the sea. The Regency Townhouse has met our needs as the family has grown and so has Ramsgate. From sand castles on the pristine beach to the Viking ship in Pegwell and Dover castle, the children are never bored and the house is always a welcome retreat after such active days. The children don't notice but we also appreciate the best quality bedding we have ever had in a holiday rental!! We have been at all times of year and enjoyed every season. We can highly recommend the coffee at Archive in the arches on the seafront, lunch at the boutique hotel Albion House and the pub just on the corner, the Churchill Arms, does a really good quality pub dinner. The host is very thoughtful and there really is everything you could need. Plus lovely touches from her to make the stay feel luxurious.

We spent a very relaxing week and felt very much at home. The neighbours who live around the square were very friendly and were happy to see our kids out playing around the square. The house was very comfortable and everything we needed was provided in abundance. The kitchen was well equipped and a pleasure to cook in.

“Fabulous accommodation and excellent value for money!!”

When looking for a reasonably priced family holiday tripadvisor found for us the fabulous Regency Town House in Ramsgate. After booking we were dubious about where we were going but on arrival after a long delay due to traffic we were so delighted with the house and the interior which is absolutely suited to the style of the property.
We were greeted by the owners who couldnt be more helpful and accomodating, every little thought is put into the property from cookbooks to milk being in the fridge.

We explored the local area, and the kids loved walking along the coast towards Broadstairs stopping to investigate the rockpools and play on the beach on the way. We were so lucky that the week we visited there was a Folk Festival at Broadstairs and the town was buzzing with a great atmosphere.

Back in Ramsgate itself the Town has some great shopping and restuarants especially along the RoyalHarbour front, and we were also delighted to use the square outside the house for tennis and bike hire at a reasonable cost.

All in all our week break at Regency Townhouse was most memorable and we would thoroughly recommend to all without reservation

Reviewed 5 September 2011 for a stay in September 2011

We stayed at this property in September and was extremely delighted with the standard of which the house was furnished and equipped. The house has everything you need to feel like home from home and the location is superb! We shall be booking the property again next year.
