myself and my partner stopped at this hotel for 2 nights 1st and 2nd of june.
after looking on the website, i decided to book this hotel as it looked really nice, four poster beds, sea views, all looked lovely.
The reality being shoved into a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the car park.
the room was very small and stuffy.
Used the aircon constantly to get rid of the musty smell and over bearing heat. there was a constant noise from a gererator above our room door which made a noise every 5 mins, yes i did time it!!!!

We paid for the full english breakfast, i would recomend this for someone with a massive appitite. second day we had bacon sandwich which came with crisps.
we had dinner there both evenings, all the food and service was exellent. although the portions are very big, the prices are very good. no complaints at all about the food and bar.

although this hotel is dated and needs some attention, our room was clean.

Room Tip: pay extra for a sea view

Booked a one night stay for a relaxing bank holiday. Room not ready when we arrived at 3pm, was told this was due to staff shortage and staff ringing in sick (really not my problem!). Was send away for 45 mins while room cleaned. Public areas really shabby and the room even worse, bad musty smell in corridor and room, wall paper hanging off wall and furniture you would not want to sit on. Bathroom, although looked clean had seen many better days. Could not relax in really awful room and had to checkout without staying. Really not worth the room price of £90.00 per night. I think in any other industry they would be done under trade description - Comfort Inn - I don't think so. Staff on leaving very appologetic, I really cannot blame them the state of the hotel is not their fault. Avoid at all cost.

This hotel is in need of a little updating. Upon arrival, car park nice and empty. Very welcoming member of staff on reception. We upgraded to a suite sea view with balcony. I was not expecting much from the comments I read and for what was paid, but the room on the 2nd floor had a four poster and super view of the sea. It was in need of some updating, but have stayed in higher star hotels not as nice.
The matress needed replacing, not a great nights sleep and no reason for the hotel not to spend some money on decent bedding. The food is piled high. The hotel has a bar and restaurant. The evening meal wasnt the best, but you have lots of restaurants and pubs in lovely Ramsgate which was a treat. The breakfast is contenental, but you can go for full English for a fiver or so.
In all, a good little hotel for what we paid and for its location.
Went to Margate, Get a cab, the bus takes 45 mins and goes via the south pole! Its only 5 miles. Hope this helps.

Room Tip: 2nd floor suite with sea view and balcony. The other rooms looked rather small.

windows are so drafty might as well be sleeping outside, and this is on a cold night in february.
This hotel needs some serious modernisation and money spent on it.

The staff were perfectly friendly, and the location is great for taking in the town by foot. The rooms were clean and I was impressed by the high pressure shower. I must admit to feeling a bit cheated when I was told that a Full English wasn't included in the room price, but the breakfast that was included was acceptable: croissants, danishes, bread tools, cereal, juice and coffee.

Room Tip: nform staff beforehand if you have any mobility issues as there are lots of stairs.
