We stayed in the Travelodge on Ramsgate seafront for two nights with a party of teenage school pupils from Germany. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating at all times, especially while checking into our rooms which was a rather complicated process due to the size, and nature, of our group. The female member of staff on reception was very patient and efficient, despite being visibly busy at the time - the phone was ringing constantly and other guests were coming and going, too.

The hotel was ideally located, directly on the seafront, near to the beach, the harbour and other facilities such as shops, places to eat and bus stops.

The breakfast pricing policy was perfect for our group because for every paying adult two children were able to eat free of charge. The range of breakfast options was wide enough to satisfy the members of our group.

We will almost certainly use this travelodge in the future.

Great location and what you'd expect from a Travelodge, but bathroom needed a good thorough clean, we had badly stained towels and the room was stiflingly hot. We visited at the end of July and all there was in the room was one fan and a window that only opened slightly at the top. It was hot and uncomfortable for the four of us. The hallways were the same and the only areas that had air-conditioning were reception and the eating area.
Breakfast was absolutely awful, the egg was revolting, and the tables and chairs needed a good clean, crumbs everywhere and no staff in sight. I'd recommend eating elsewhere. £6.65 with online discount is not good value considering the quality.
Staff were OK, but not over-friendly or helpful.
There was quite a bit of noise from outside traffic, but the Travelodge site does warn you about this.
There is no on-site car park, but the multi-storey is only across the road.

We had a disabled accessible room for one night on our way to the Continent. The staff were pleasant and reasonably helpful. The room was one of those that had been upgraded. It was clean and bright with a comfortable bed and the good pillows of which Travelodge are so proud. It had a good, well-equipped flat access bathroom and food available. That's the good bit. But the parking for a disabled visitor is a nightmare. Normal parking is off-site in a multi-storey town centre car park. But there is one disabled space close to the front door. Sadly when we arrived a previous visitor had parked 'just while he took his things to his room' leaving access to the disabled space inaccessible. We waited and waited for him to come and move his car with other cars trying to access the venue's entrance. In the end we had to leave our car further blocking the access and my husband took me up to our room and got me settled before returning to our car and moving it into the disabled space when he was able.

Room Tip: Most south/east facing rooms seem to have some sort of sea view

We used this travel lodge for a evening stopover. It was a nice location right on the seafront, but unlike Premier Inns, it's not attached to a pub/restaurant, so you'll have to go out to eat.
Please note too, that there is NO on site car parking, you have to use the public car park, which is almost opposite, and cost £4 for the overnight stay.
They do appear to have a small restaurant/bar, there was little mention of what it served, and the pictures displayed didn't suggest it would be freshly prepared. The room was of a typical standard for this type of accommodation, clean and perfectly sufficient for just overnight stays. It was very warm in our room (not air conditioned), and therefore we had the window open for air which meant the sounds from the seagulls and very early morning street cleaner made for an early morning call. They did serve a breakfast in the morning, a simple buffet with limited hot and cold choices, but ok. Overall, disappointed with the parking facilities, but otherwise satisfactory.

Bit sceptical at first, but when arrived at the Travel Lodge Ramsgate was greeted by Kim the receptionist, she went out of her way to make sure our stay was good. No noise inside the hotel< no noise outside the hotel...this was on a Monday and Tuesday night though....slept very well. Good place to base oneself..but Ramsgate is changing, no undesirables.....Lovely Stay...

We stayed at this hotel 15th of july this year.Location is great because it is a seafront.Parking is not so good because you have to pay and not in the hotel itself. We arrived at 14:30 and asked if we can check-in after a long drive and it was a very hot day too.The receptionist told us that we can not check in till 15:00.Oh my goodies! It was only 30 mins away...not happy at all! The good thing was when we went back at 15:30,another lady was at the reception and she upgraded our room...happy me then! Over all...it wasnt bad at all, room was clean and very spacious.

This hotel looked great from the outside but our room was dirty and only had a tiny small window. The corridors stunk of smoke and the worst part was having to park my car in the multi-storey opposite which was absolutely disgusting. It was filthy and dingy and I didn't feel at all safe parking there.
