Happened upon this place completely by chance, and extremely glad we did. I had the home made lasagne and my nan had the steak and ale pie, the lasagne came with chips and salad and the pie with new potatoes and veg. The lasagne was gorgeous, the tomato sauce was rice and flavoursome, the gravy in the pie was to die for and the size of the lumps of steak was to die from (if one had been thrown at you). The atmosphere was very friendly, the drinks were reasonably priced, 2 main meals and 2 drinks, inc one pint of cider, and it came to a fraction over £20, that is a bargain any day of the week. Throw in that the lass who took the orders was rather attractive as well and all in all a very nice meal out. We will be returning next time we are down this way. Thank you Racing Greyhound
