“Warm and friendly. ”
Reviewed 24 May 2014 via mobile

Small pub only open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Opens at 5.30pm. Very friendly staff. Great mix of eclectic and unusual music. Gets a lovely crowd in and they also serve the most amazing Caribbean food. You will love the place if you want to have a great night out but I suggest you arrive by 9pm to get a seat.

“Wonderful, alternative, pub”
Reviewed 24 March 2014

The Queen Charlotte welcomes you with a knitted lamp-post outside; upon entering, you are greeted with a convivial, alternative, pub, with a great range of local ales, home-cooked Jamaican food, eclectic conversation (fracking looms large!), friendly locals, and cheap pistachios! I visited twice during my trip to Ramsgate; once with a friend, and once on my own. I was not disappointed on either occasion.

“fab find”
Reviewed 29 October 2013

This is a great pub - quirky - select your own music on the record player and great ales and wines. Would love to try the food next time. Owners very friendly. Cosy in the winter months.

“Ghastly....”
Reviewed 21 June 2013

This has to be one of the most horrible, pretentious places in Thanet, if not Kent, if not the country. Ambience? More in the local toilets probably, and they are possibly more comfortable. Sign on the window read ' No baseball caps or track suits' - just who do these people think they are? I know there is a 'loyal' following amongst the so-called artist community, no doubt all patting themselves on their collective back and name dropping like mad. Avoid.
