We stayed here for my nieces’ wedding and received a warm friendly welcome from Amanda on reception and we found all the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely character with spacious, yet comfortable public rooms that provided good space for guests to separate off if they are looking for a quiet area. All these rooms overlook the sea and harbour, which is a real bonus. The bedroom was clean and bright with a large comfortable bed and a sumptuous bathroom. Our only comment was that there was not much hanging space, as we came armed with various suit hangers for the two nights with clothes we didn’t want crushed. However, there is plenty of drawers. Breakfast offered a good choice, was well cooked and served in promptly. Thank you to all the team that made our stay so enjoyable.

Room tip: Parking is plentiful around the hotel but is quiet expensive and be prepared for a short walk.

We enjoyed our three night stay here. Without exception all the staff we came across were friendly and helpful but the ladies on reception and the young lady in the bar/dining room were exceptional.
We had the accessible room on the lower ground floor. The bedroom was lovely. The wet room was very accessible and functional for my husband ( a wheelchair user) but so dark, it was like entering a cave!
Quite a bit of road noise during the day but was quiet at night for a good night's sleep.
The food is very high quality but breakfast is a little heavily egg orientated. I don't eat eggs!
The lounges and dining room are beautiful and comfortable and very welcoming. We would stay again

I'll start with the positives - one staff member in particular was wonderful, very attentive and on the ball. I don't know her name but she was working the afternoon and evening shifts.

Food was nice and service was quick with no delays.

Nice room views and bathroom facilities.

Negatives I would say the bed was slightly too soft where I usually prefer a firmer mattress.

Bedding was more suitable for winter months and not summer so it got quite warm to sleep in.

But the biggest issue for us was we barely got any sleep on both nights we stayed due to a larger group staying in the same floor as us occupying 3 other rooms, so all we heard most of the nights was doors slamming all throughout the night.

I would recommend the hotel to a friend but the area of Ramsgate was quite depressing with majority of shops closed down. And just the general run down feel of the town.

The hotel is dog friendly which was great for our dog but unfortunately the area of Ramsgate was not. We couldn't goto majority of beaches with him and zero restaurants allowed him in so we ended up dining at the hotel for the duration of our stay.

What a lovely 2 days we had at Albion House. Such a comfortable room with delightful sea views and a spacious bathroom. We loved the bar/restaurant open plan area, friendly, light and airy.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and charming, and we had a very good dinner our first night.
The only downside would be the traffic noise, but it was very hot and we needed the windows open.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Lovely hotel situated perfectly for the busy centre but just far enough away for it to be quiet at night . We got lucky with the weather which always helps but I reckon even in a drab January the front of house team would make you feel at home. Hotel has a lovely relaxed vibe , breakfast was lovely and rooms airy. Will come back and tempted to hire the whole hotel out for special occasion as only 14 rooms .

Room tip: Parking is free on the beach road about 400 yards beyond hotel . All parking meters are Ringo app.
