I was on a day trip to Broadstairs and Ramsgate with a girlfriend and after walking from Broadstairs to Ramsgate we were initially disappointed by the selection of eateries and bars as we approached the harbour from Broadstairs. We were hot and hungry but decided to walk a little further and take a look at the restaurants we could see in the distance - one of which was Bon Appetit. We were so glad we did. We sat outside and had a fantastic view of the harbour. It was such a lovely menu - we were spoilt for choice. However we both had the lobster (local) and prawn salad which was accompanied by lemon mayonnaise and bread, washed down with a very pleasant glass of house rose. The salad was £8.95 and was excellent value for money, half of what we would pay where we live in South West London. Service was friendly and professional - we could not wish for more and will definitely return! I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant - the menu has something to suit all tastes, it really was a 'find'.

We would like to say a very big thank you to the staff of Bon Appetit for a absolutely outstanding meal from start to finish , the menu has a wide selection and plenty of choices . From starters to Desert we were not disappointed at all ' the home-made mango ice cream is to die for !! The wine list is also extremely good (you must try the house red) it's very good ! . All in all we had a fantastic evening and highly recommend this restaurant it's a must ! I must add that all staff were very attentive and professional
Thank you again for making our anniversary so special and we will visit again soon

Fantastic food with very friendly staff. The chef was very accommodating in creating a child friendly dish for my 7 year old which went down well :) fantastic lobster Thermidor with a whiskey tarragon cream sauce which was generous with lobster meat and delicious! A far price overall for quality food- we would happily eat there again.

maybe it was a bad day. We booked for lunch and admitedly were late and apologised. We waited and waited to place an order when we went and asked them if we could place it the lady came out and gave us a lecture about how busy she was with 3 tables full because we were late. the time taken for the lecture she could have taken the order. Since we are all in our 50s and 60s this school teacher lecture was inappropriate and we paid for our water and left. I hope she reads this and behaves. the menu and outlook were very good but this type of service is not acceptable.

As a member of the Management team I was witness to this incident. The gentleman in question arrived for his booking some 45 minutes late!.The waitress politely told him that she would do her best to fit him and his party in, but, he had to appreciate that as he was so late three other tables were at that time being served. It must be appreciated that this is a very small restaurant and there is a limit to how many customers can be served at the same time from that sized kitchen. This is why we have a table booking system. As a bystander to this particular issue I was appalled at the attitude and manner of the person involved, which speaks volumes does it not? The waitress concerned was very polite and helpful the whole time and was merely acting on instructions received from the owner / chef as per above. In my view the party missed a great opportunity to sample our wonderful and exciting food.

Sounds like quite a statement and to be honest it really is! The meal was perfection. I chose the Scottish Rib Steak. Cooked Rare - perfectly. The meat was red inside but not an ounce of blood on the plate. The Carrot and swede mash and haggis accompaniment complemented the main perfectly. I can't speak any higher. Only down this neck of the woods for 2 more evenings but seriously giving consideration to hitting this place again! Top marks to the staff!
