“Lovely oasis.”
Reviewed 11 March 2014

Dunorlan is a gem of a park, bit hilly in places but you can stay on footpaths if you want. A real family park with boating lake, dog walkers and just folk enjoying a stroll. Small cafe always busy. This could be better quality but at least it's there. Downside is very limited parking. Especially if on the Pembury road entrance. If you can navigate to the far side of the park a bigger area often with space can be found.

“Great park in all weathers”
Reviewed 7 February 2014

In the area so had a good walk round the park. Very relaxing peaceful and good exercise with the uphill stretch to walk on return. Scenery great even in late autumn

“fantastic park”
Reviewed 22 December 2013

this really is a beautiful space, just outside the town centre. a real haven

the lake is lovely, the new playground excellent and a real nice location for a stroll.

the only downside is the ugly modern house which replaced the original building, but this is quite well hidden

great ice creams too!

“Pleasant and disabled-friendly”
Reviewed 15 December 2013

Visited with our wheelchair-bound son after a huge lunch so we needed to walk it off! Had a pleasant walk around the lake and great to see so many people of various ages enjoying themselves too. Would like to explore further another time though some parts too steep with a wheelchair.

“Really lovely park”
Reviewed 9 December 2013

Absolutely love visiting Dunorlan Park. I used to be taken there by my grandparents as a child, so has lots of memories.
Very nice to just go and walk around the lake, or maybe go boating. Good for a picnic.
Good facilities there - toilets, cafe etc.
Car park is on the small side, but I am told there is another car park available on the other side of the park.
