There are several entrances. The main one being on the Pembury Road. However this entrance has a hill down to the lake and the rest of the park so if this is a problem it is better to enter from the opposite side of the Park where the ground is flatter. There are several walkways, the main one is the path around the Boating Lake. On this walk you will pass the children's play area and nooks off to explore. There is fairly basic café with some outside seating and separate public WC's. A great dog walking place - supposed to be kept on a lead, and definitely need to take a pooh bag as the supply at the Entrance has usually run out! Plenty of quiet corners to picnic out of school holidays. Large Firework Display held here around 5th November and other Events are held from time to time. Sometimes one comes across outdoor Keep Fit classes and some one- to-one ( I'm not sure if these are Official or not). Not too strenuous and plenty of Benches spread around

A little secret... years ago I used to jump over the fence at midnight and sit with my feet dipped in the lake, under the stars. It's a beautiful place and perfect for so many things: I've been here on dates, with friends to chill out and play board games on a picnic rug; I've done countless Race For Life running events here; been pedal boating and canoeing in the lake; I've been here to feed the ducks or just to wander around and have an ice-cream in the cafe. I've seen that they also have a children's play area too. Such a great local park, we're blessed to have this in Tunbridge Wells.

this is our local park. great events from the race for life all the way back to mini festivals and the Olympic opening nights and fireworks night.... we are almost always here of a weekend. its nice to stroll through and feed the ducks, have a run, or lay and sunbathe. handy little cafe and a boat/pedallo rental place.

Beautiful park in RTW. Lots of flowers, a paddle boat lake, geese, ducks, joggers. Dogs. A "natural" children's play area which seems popular though I suspect could be a bit more exciting. The coffee at the park cafe is horrific though!

I love the fact that you can walk the dog without a lead. It is the only place in Tunbridge Wells that is safe to do this and my little Bichon Friche absolutely loves it. Relaxing feeling whilst there and the little cafe does some good food.
