BowlPlex Tunbridge Wells

ive popped in a good few times since the date im posting on the review.. but i thought it only fair to put this date as this was the last time we did everything that bowlplex has to offer..
yes this place is WELL PASSED its hayday but they realy should have put some effort into getting people to keep coming. soon places like this are all going to be shut and turned into more flats or mcdonalds etc.. not what we need. we actually need stuff to do in town and this could be so good if they just put a little bit of effort in and/or stopped letting the standards decline so badly. the bowling area is fine.. its good at night when the musics on and the lights are going.. make it a bit disco'y (if thats actually a word) but during the day its just boring now. the arcade is pants... and the pool pit is so run down its painful to see. ive been coming here since it opened its doors but obviousely a heck of a lot less in the past few years. the service at the bar is so slow and genuinely depressing... it smells soooo badly it needs a good clean some new carpets fresh paint and a bbit of OOMF again. come on bowlplex step it up or youre going to close for good and that would be a sad sight. i remember when it was a good place to go for a night out they used to turn it into a club but now no1 wants to go because you let it all slip... put some money into it and youll get it back!!

Plenty of free parking here and a few places to eat after with children or without them. Bowling shoes no longer needed just wear suitable trainer types. Helpful staff we always muck up the computer screen. Only thing lets it down is the food area. 2nd rate food and 2nd rate service. Wouldn't bother, go outside to one of the other eateries. Otherwise a pleasant day for us with the grandchildren.

two kids (3 & 5) and one adult, 10:30 a.m. £16 for a game! Not an hour! A game! Put food and drinks with that would have been £30 for maybe half an hour or an hour tops!

It's a pretty bog-standard bowling alley really. I've always found it to be o.k, if a little over-priced. If you like bowling or playing pool then you'll probably enjoy it. The foods nothing to write home about though. Usual American themed burgers and chips...but you're probably better off going to McDonalds down the road as it's cheaper and actually nicer.

Needs a facelift and some £ spent here. Can become very expensive to take a party. Food isn't worth it and drinks are on the expensive side. Staff do there best, but I'd not bother going back. sorry.
