Even though we live in West Malling this venue was recommended by a friend living in London who had hired it for his daughters wedding. The whole process from booking the venue to the actual wedding day at High Rocks was made so easy by the owners (Giuseppe) expertise and attention to detail. Whilst we were on a fairly tight budget the budget was tailored to suit. We were aware of the maximum cost from day one with no hidden extras to worry about. This in itself was very comforting. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff they employ. The optional cost of Toastmaster Martin is a must. I was extremely nervous about doing my Father of the Bride speech, however a chat with him prior to going in for the meal put me totally at ease. The food was absolutely faultless. Even my wife who normally manages to come up with even the slightest criticism could not find fault. There were no end of compliments from friends and relatives that attended. Views for photos are stunning. Cannot recommend this venue enough.

Our per booked meals were very good, and excellent value for money. The staff were welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We asked to have our deserts and coffee in the garden, which the staff were happy to do. All in all a very pleasant afternoon.

Quite a good pub lunch destination. Service indifferent and slow even on a day when there were few people present.

We held our daughter's wedding at High Rocks on Friday 6 June and were really impressed with the service throughout the planning stages and the attention to detail and service on the day was brilliant. The quality of the food was excellent and the waiting staff were all very attentive and helpful. The venue is stunning! We have received numerous compliments from our guests about High Rocks and would highly recommend it as a place to hold a wedding.

Took the family on the Spa Valley Railway and stopped off at High Rocks. We had originally planned just to stop for an hour to have a walk around the Sandstone rocks but ended up staying longer and enjoying the sun in the large High Rocks beer garden.
We had lunch there and i have to say that although the food took a while to come out it was enjoyable and quite reasonably priced - i had thought by the pubs appearance that the food was going to be quite expensive; but it wasn't - £9 for a Steak Baguette. The other pubs along the Spa Valley route all appear to be gastro pubs but this is a welcomed exception.
While it doesn't have a play area as such it does have a large grass area for kids to play which kept them busy and it is literally next to the train tracks for the Steam railway. A fantastic looking pub that is very reasonably priced.
In relation to the sandstone rocks they offer a pleasant woodland walk with quite a few picnic areas if you so wish.
We'll be visiting again!
