This is a good base for a good price. However, what did let it down was the mould on the bathroom ceiling, the fact that they would not serve alcohol with a meal to a 171/2 year old even though it is legal to do so, hence lost our trade for dinner and the fact that they charge £6 per person for breakfast even if it was only 2 weetabix and a cup of tea. Therefore did not feel that welcome and did not feel they were indeed very accomodating.

Room Tip: Motel style, therefore you will hear people coming and going and using the bathroom in the next door...

Not a luxury hotel but nevertheless clean with all neccessary basics incuding free WifI and parking. Shower - hot and powerful. Plenty of fresh, clean bedding. Very friendly and helpful staff. £5 a night for dogs on top of room rate (more than 1 and it gets a bit overpriced). Room is big enough and lets out onto the grassed area. Next to the busy main road but well fenced. Could be traffic noise in Summer with windowss open but ok when we were there. Didn;t eat at the Campanile - breakfast seemd a bit pricey (£6 for conintental and £8.75 for cooked) however the vening menu was better priced and there were three veggie options - surprisingly one did not include the ubiquitous cheesy pasta option. It was a chick pea curry). Would visit again.

A one night visit to sleep and eat. Check in was quick and easy. Room clean and tidy. Only one mains socket, beware. Linen white and clean. Bed comfortable, spare pillows and blankets in wardrobe. Electric wall heater, adequate but no markings on switches so on, off etc is guess work. Plenty of hot water for shower or bath. Clean towels. Restaurant is good, rump steak done to how you like it. TV in room has HDMI and USB sockets so you can play your own films. WiFi has a good signal, better than phone data strength. Car park is big. Get a room facing car park coz it's less noise. Close to town centre for walking. Breakfast was lovely, just like home cooked. Don't believe all the bad reviews. As a 2 star hotel this is a wonderful hotel, the staff are very nice and hard working, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant is good. Highly recommended.

I booked this hotel as it was cheap and close to Hull City Centre whilst having a decent car park. I wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. All staff I encountered were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and everything was in good condition. The bed was surprisingly comfy. Free Wi-Fi was unexpected. Shower was powerful and hot. Breakfast was very good. I'll certainly stay here again next time I'm in Hull.

Room Tip: Ask for a 1st floor room not overlooking the road.

me and the husband had an overnight stay nov 2013 so we could eat and drink around the town and flop into bed at the end of it,, the rooms are ok and comfy i suppose but make sure you ask for a room facing the carpark or you might not get much sleep,,the breakfast isnt that brill but ok again but my word if you want peace and quiet while eating your breakfast it wont happen as one of the female staff there wont leave you alone,,talk talk talk puts a bit of a downer on your break so id advice to eat in the town and not the hotel lol

Room Tip: ask for a room facing the carpark or you wont get much sleep from traffic,,,

More like a motel than a hotel. Worthy of its 2 stars but somewhere to rest your head for the night. The rooms are in a seperate building and are similar to chalets. Reception is a seperate building from the accomodation block. Bit noisy from passing traffic bu clean and comfortable..
