“excellent hotel, excellent value for money”
Reviewed 21 November 2011

We recently stayed at this hotel for two nights. The hotel is very well located for the town centre. The standard of cleanliness is very high throughout the hotel. The food is of very good quality and value for money. We had breakfast each morning and the choice was extensive. The rooms are very well laid out and has everything you need. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller.

booked hotel as we had exam early sat morning in hull. Arrived on the 18/11/11 ll reception staff wonderful especially a lady called Helen. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she was always smiling, easy to approach, very helpful, she helped print out directions for our college, wished us luck, and even at breakfast she was an angle, very pleasant staff and stay, my Room mate ran out of tea bags and she sorted out some more for us......over all very good staff and stay..........would defo recommend....just a shame about all building work outside the Inn but could'nt fault inside...........dinner and breakfast fab THANKYOU

Arrived at hotel on a Saturday afternoon to find one of the 2 lifts broken, checked in, unpacked all our clothes, toiletries, fancy dress costumes for the party we were off to later and then relaxed in the room for an hour or so. Heating was dodgy so told the staff, then our daughter used the toilet which then wouldn't flush. This left an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, I then turned the shower on to find you could either have polar ice cold water or burn your skin off hot water nothing inbetween, the sink wouldn't fill for me to shave either. We complained to staff who said the water pressure was playing up and they would move us, so we had to pack everything take it to another floor when the room was ready and then unpack it all again, seriously putting us behind in our party schedule, staff did their best to help us which I give them credit for. The next morning on checkout the same member of staff asked if our stay was ok, I replied yes it was great apart from the room swap, she immediately snapped back "Oh but we did move you didn't we," I in no way wanted a refund but she acted like she would have had to pay it out of her wages if I had asked for one. Before checkout I would have stayed at this hotel again, but now I will never, Holiday Inn, Travelodge or Ibis for me whenever I go to Hull again.

We chose the premier inn for its comfort and value for money and the Hotel did not disappoint. The rooms were to the usual standard, clean and comfortable.

Marie on reception very friendly, bubbly and helpful as were all the other staff we spoke too. The restaurant food and service was also very good. Enjoyed our stay in Hull and if we return we will try and stay at the hotel again.

Well done to all the staff.

Room Tip: bedrooms start on 8th floor with car park below on lower floors, so view from bedrooms look over hul...

It needs to be said that your receptionst ' paddy ' was excellent and very kind during the phone call i had with him. Although i haven't yet stayed at the Hotel, he should be treasured as i have booked alot of premier inn hotels over the phone and he has to have been on the best and most friendly. I now look forward to my stay even more knowing that paddy has gave me a postivite view of your hotel and the staff that work there.

Thank You.

Excellent value for money at £29 for family room. Will definitely return! Nice room, very comfortable bed. My hair stuck to the headboard, seemed like old hair gel on the board. Would have been a very good room if it wasn't for that and an empty body wash disposer in the bathroom,

Excellent breakfast. Really friendly staff. Free parking. Brilliant location for The Deep! Good view from room. Overall a really good place to stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the harbour
